I updated from XOOPS 2.0.13 to 2.0.13.1 and one of the members was getting the "Forbidden" error while trying to post on the forums (CBB 1.14). I tries to go to the "Groups" permission and received this error:

"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /modules/system/admin.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Is there some way to get around it?

Thanks,
Buddy

Do you have mod-security running on your web server?

You need to set the permissions correctly in XOOPS. Are you webmaster?

"It is a security module for apache server ..."

I don't know if the host has that or not.

"You need to set the permissions correctly in XOOPS. Are you webmaster?"

Yes, I am the webmaster and I have never had problems before. I can go to the administrator side fine. It looks like I can go to everything else except the "groups". This just happened after I updated to 2.0.13.1. I have a member/administrator who can't reply to one message but can reply to other messages in the same forum.

I am running that version without issues. You might try uploading the update files again. It is definitely a permission problem. The posting problem should be solvable with cbb permissions double check them. If all else fails try moving the post.

Okay,
I will reload the 2.0.13.1 files later.

Thanks,

I enabled the PHP debug and when going to "Groups" I get the same error: "Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /modules/system/admin.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." and no others.

Going to admin section I get this: Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: easiestml_lang in file language/english/global.php line 196
Warning [PHP]: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' cannot be used after 'URL-Rewriter' in file include/cp_functions.php line 33

On the home page side I get this:
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: easiestml_lang in file language/english/global.php line 196
Warning [PHP]: array_intersect(): Argument #1 is not an array in file modules/PDlinks/xoops_version.php line 77

Thanks,
Buddy
