Firefox 1.02 and images

I'm experiencing some problems with viewing images in firefox 1.02 here on the xoops.org forums, namely that the images are garbled up.

When I load a thread, some of the images (post reply, new topic etc.) are correct, but some are not. For instance I saw Herko's avatar used for indicating the XOOPS Core Team rank. After a CTRL + R, it is another image there - or it is correct, but other images are wrong. IE and Mozilla 1.7.6 show correct images

Anybody else experience similar things with FF 1.02? Here or elsewhere?

I'm using Firefox 1.02 without any problems. Strange...

The 'about' screen shows:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2

Same as yours?

And right now I have the "delete" button as a very small "Create PDF" icon

I only use Firefox for testing now, not only are there problems with graphics but complete webpage seem to be not visable to Firefox. Also I have noticed Firefox does not display scrolling text well anymore.

Re: Firefox 1.02 and images

I have not have any problems with 1.01 and standard-compliant HTML - only IE-specific HTML.

That's why I am even more annoyed with this as I have now uninstalled and reinstalled and cleared cache and jumped on one leg and still Firefox just barfs on me.

So now I'm with Mozilla 1.7.6, but unfortunately it is only easy migrating TO firefox... not going the other way. Mozilla 1.7.x has both an export and an import feature. Firefox only has import.

Generally I like FF as a browser for its standards-compliance, theming, web developer toolbar etc. but configuration feature-wise, Mozilla non-Firefox wins

I have done it loads of times. It just shuffles around which images are shown correctly (similar to when I do a CTRL + R)
