Re: Attempting to login to Zen Cart Xoops Integration:"Admin Login"

To All,

There is a posting in the Xoops Module Forum directing anyone with this problem to the Zen Cart Forum. DrByte has some modifications about Fatal error:

Call to a member function Execute() on a non-object in /home/xxxxx/public_html/modules/shop/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 61

The problem:
I am having a problem with the Zen Cart module admin link from the XOOPS admin page.

When I click on it, I get the following:

Fatal error: Call to a member function Execute() on a non-object in /home/xxxxx/public_html/modules/shop/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 61

The link will not take me off the Zen Cart admin Log In page.
I can get to the rest of the administration controls to work.
I did a search and only turned up comments from 2006, which do not seem to be totally relevant to the latest version of XOOPS. Those problems are similar, but I do not think that they are the same as my issue.

I am stumped. The links of the Zen Cart module in the XOOPS admin point to an xadmin directory and I can't figure out where or how to to change the link for admin nor do I know for sure which link to change, 1 of them or all of them:
Xoops administration/Zen Cart has:

Administration(problem)
Build Blocks Cache
Install Demo Products
Clean Database
all of these are linked to the modules/shop/xadmin/index.php?op=xxxxx

The rest of the modules appears to be working fine.

Re: Directory Path Change Issues with xoops_lib and xoop_data

Ghia,

You were absolutely correct by instructing me to shorten the path.

Before the path would work on this server, the path to the xoops_data and xoops_lib folder were changed so that each folder is in the server root /.

Thank you

Directory Path Change Issues with xoops_lib and xoop_data

Server:
MySQL version 5.1.47-community-log
Operating system Linux
PHP version 5.2.14

Desktop:
Vista 32

Problem: After flawlessly installing Xoops 2.4.5, when xoops_data and xoops_lib are removed from the root directory for security reasons, the install fails. I suspect a bad path, but I have never seen any of the issues below, until I installed this version. I cannot secure the installation. Can somone provide me some direction?

The mainfile.php is changed to match the new path, but the database will not initialize and so forth. I removed the last installation and re-installed, but I have not attempted to move xoops-lib and xoops_data changes again. I checked in the other forums, but what is happpening to me does not seem to have happened in earlier versions. These are error produced:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/myfolder/public_html/class/file/folder.php on line
529
Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in /home1/myfolder/public_html/class/file/folder.php
on line 529
Warning: Cache Engine file is not initialized in /home/myfolder/public_html/class/cache/xoopscache.php on line
179
Warning: Cache Engine file is not set in /home/myfolder/public_html/class/cache/xoopscache.php on line 137
This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.
You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:
Error: Smarty error: the $compile_dir '/home/xoops_data/caches/smarty_compile' does not exist, or is not a directory.

Re: Unable to launch web page after moving xoops_data and xoops_lib

Thanks too. That is a clear example of what one needs to do. Succint and to the point.

Re: Display of web site with White Screen Only

Playsome,

Thank you for your response. I located the file, include/common.php and made the changes. I was unable to enable debugging by editing and changing the file.

This is a problem that seems to have happened in one form or another to many XOOPS users. It just seems to happen under slightly different circumstances for each user.

I will keep browsing through the information from other users and hope for a solution. I need to upgrade, but this is the wrong time for it.

Again, thank you. If there are any more ideas out there, please share them.

Display of web site with White Screen Only

Dear XOOPS Users,

I am using:
XOOPS Version: 2.4.4
Module Name/Version: see below.
PHP Version:5.2 +
MySQL Version: 5.1.45
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache
Operating System: Vista 32
Theme you are using: default
Custom template: (No)
PHP Debug Messages: none
MySQL Debug Messages:none
Smarty Debug Messages: none

Module Names: amcontact, AMS, backpack, extcal, freecontent, lawsuit, ms_weather, multimenu, newbb, popnupblog, profile, protector, rss, sitemap, smartblocks,
smartclient, smartfaq, smartmail, smartobject, smartpartner, smartsection, spiders, x-whois, xcgal, xortify, startup, zox, tools, system.

Modules not activated are: amcontact, backpack, lawsuit, smartblocks, smartclient, smartmail, smartobject, smartpartner, and smartsection.

A full description of the issue:

As of today, when I attempted to log into my site:

http://www.montereybayimages.com/, I got only a white screen. I cannot get into my Admin area because there are no menus or other graphics, just a white page with the site address in the address box.

Just before this happened, I went to General Preferences and re-set the setting: I think I set "Do not allow these IP Addresses Access." I set this setting to NO, which evidently denies those IP Addresses access to the
sight. One of the IP addresses listed was 127.0.0.0.The other addresses, I cannot remember.

How can I get back to my site to re-set the General Preferences page? I think that may be the problem as I had no issues prior to taking that action.Additionally, I have not had a chance to try and access my site using
another computer with a different IP Address and Host to see if the site displays properly from another computer's IP Address.

I have access to the site at my Host, but I do not know where to start there or if I should attemtpt to modify anything on the server.

Your assistance is appreciated,

Thank you

xcgallery ver 1.10 Batch Menu Fails

XOOPS Version: 2.4.4
Module Name/Version:
PHP Version:5.2 +
MySQL Version: 5.1.45
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache
Operating System: Vista
Theme you are using: default
Custom template: ZOX

PHP Debug Messages: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare scandir() in /home/mont/public_html/modules/xcgal/xyz/searchnew.php on line 314

MySQL Debug Messages: None
Smarty Debug Messages: None

A full description of the issue: Each time I attempt to use the batch Menu to move a folder of files to my server, I get the PHP error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare scandir() in /home/monterey/public_html/modules/xcgal/xxx/searchnew.php on line 314.

How do I set this to search the folder where I have my images, which is on my home computer. Or should I move all the images to a folder on my server and try to point the module to the folder on the r server?
