Re: Unable to launch web page after moving xoops_data and xoops_lib

SpecialK, it is recommended that you move the xoops_lib and xoops_data folders completely out of the public_html folder. If you have ftp access or you have access via your control panel move these 2 folders (and their subfolders) into the same folder that the public_html folder is in. That should be in your root. For example the current path of your site may be something like this

/home/myaccount/public_html/mysite.com/xoops_data
/home/myaccount/public_html/mysite.com/xoops_lib

and it should be something like this

/home/myaccount/xoops_data
/home/myaccount/xoops_lib

make sure you change your mainfile.php in your sites root to reflect where the xoops_data and xoops_lib folder is located and please make sure the attributes are changed to 444 for your security and peace of mind.

Re: Problem with subscription module

According to the documentation it states that the module can be integrated into the registration process. However, I can't find (unless I'm missing something) how to integrate it. Once I get it integrated I can modify the code to do what I want, the issue is I'm not a good enough developer to do it from scratch.

Re: Problem with subscription module

That's a good question. I've made a post on Thirdeye's website asking for the help but as of yet there is no reply (it's been almost a week).

Here is what I need, when someone clicks on register I would like the subscribtion page to be part of the registration page. I have only 2 options, paid or free, so the reg page should have only 2 buttons, one to paypal for the payment after which the return sends the activation email or the other straight to the activation email (different user group)

Re: How to customize subscription module

Obviously, we pay for a module but can't seem to find content help or good documentation. Hummmm, is someone even backing up there work for pay????

I need to integrate the mod into the registration page, how is that done? Shouldn't that be a built in feature?

Re: Problem with subscription module

Am I missing something somewhere? Where do I find the hacks or modules to use the Subscription module as a requirment in the registration process? The idea for me to use this module is to require paid membership only. How do I integrate this mod into to the registration process?
