Does anyone have the time now to help with this issue, I'm obviously not the only one that would like to know an outcome?

Thank you

A few people are unable to register on my new XOOPS website and they are unable to enter the correct captcha confirmation code, they enter it correct but each time it says its wrong.

I've not had the issue but I want to remove it as I dont really want it on there anyway.

Does anyone know how to remove this please?

yes I emptied the cache ect...

To fix I unzipped the template again, made my changes on my desktop and then renamed the template folder and all ref to it in the html and uploaded again...

Sorted...

Thanks for the responses though :))

Hi thanks for the response...

I edited that part of the theme.html, there is nothing in the CSS with regards to the links!

Like I said it works on some pages but not on others !!

Its strange as if I connect to the server and ftp the theme.html file to my desktop I can see the changes I have made, however if I view the source code directly from the browser from the site itself it hasnt changed at all!!

There must be somewhere else that has stored this info... but where?

Hello,

I have uploaded the lunar_k theme from the them page. It works fine and looks good. However I have one very small problem thats driving me mad!!

On the main page (http://www.viti.host22.com/) the links on the very top of the page need to be changed and the logo needs to be centered. I amended the theme.html in the theme folder and its partly worked.... but only on new modules that I have installed, seehttp://www.viti.host22.com/modules/tutorials/ ORhttp://www.viti.host22.com/modules/AMS/

All the previous mods that I installed are the same, what other file do I need to change...

I am using the lastest build of xoops.[Resolved]

Hello,

I've just installed the recent build of XOOPS onto my server for the first time.

Everything is going well and its very easy to pick up.

However I have one small issue which is down to lack of knowledge!

I would like to display some news on the top page which shows the title of the article and say 50 words (if the user wants to read more they can click into it).

I setup the news block to display on the top pages which it did and I set up a "test" article. The top page only displayed the title and not a few words of the article.

I opened blocks and selected edit for recent news (which is the one I have centered and switched on) and amended the snippet from 0 to 50.

However now, no News blocks will display on the top page at all but the actual news pages they are all present and OK.

Any ideas please?
