Hello we're using XOOPS for an Intranet but we're still missing a small option.

We want to upload data into the website for every user. De data is releted to the user. To edit each user is to much to handle (about 230 user, every week edit 4 datastrings)

Example: we have an excel sheet with free-time that we want to load to the site.

So we're looking for a solution to edit the user in a list and push once (or twice) on send, so the data is uploaded into de SQL. Or a solution to import an excel sheet into...

The dat can be displayed in the module birthday or my account.

Any idea's are welcome but I'm not a programmer (can make soma adjustments and if it's logic I can create something)

I've got a huge (or little)problem wich I can not solve.

Sometimes it's not possible to load a new subject (new topic or new foto) into Xoops. It occurs randomly and I can not reproduce it if I want to.

It occurs in the next modules:

Newbb - Loading a new topic
Myalbum - Loading a new foto
Useredit.php - Updating data in my account.

Debug mode is not possible because the error page appears.

I use XOOPS 2.0.16, php 4xx, MySQL 4xx and the module are the latest releases.

I tried to re-install the modules, turn of the "censor words", Upgrading to 2.0.17

Is someone familiar with this problem or know the solution.

I am still looking for a way to ad the next functions in Xoops. I've asked mine questions in another forum with a lot of other stuff. I've solved "the other stuff" but the functions mentioned below are still open. I think there are no solutions found in exiting modules so probly the "wheel" must be invented again. My PHP programming is zero, so mayby somebody can help. If the are minor adjustings to be made in existing modules, that's something I can do but I have to be directed in the right way.


1. Facebook - We want to have a Facebook based on my account. If a new user is created with a photo, it must automaticly appear in the facebook with the name. Also it must be possible to find the user based on accountname. I've searched for a solution, but al galleries/albums are based upon manually adding the user.

2. Admin/User - In the Admin section you can can edit a single user. One of the fields is alterd so we can provid the user with costum information, but this field must be updated every month. We currently have 230 user so editting by user is a hell of a job. If the users are in a list and we can edit this field, press updated (or something like this en voila...

or

Edit the users based on a import module (CSV, Excel or something)


Who can help me with above functions?

Herebye a question that I can't solve.

I made my XOOPS on https and it works fine. Now I've moved the site to a HTTPS file and almost everythings works except, I can not make any changes in the users account. I've searched the Internet for a solution but I did not find it.

Probaly is a problem with https secure line or I have to make some changes in the premissions of the files, but wich.

Anyone an idea.

Who can give me some hints or give me the lines to the following.

I want to have a list of the users. Behind each user I want to see two or fiels of the records that can be edited.

The current way is just one user with al the fiels of the records. If I want to frequently edit some data for all user ( data is different per user) it takes a while (200 users).

Another pssibillity is to import a csv straightinto the database.

My knowledge of PHP and SQL is to poor to create this.

Smartprofile isn't possible its operating with php5 and my hoster doens't .support it yet (other hoster isn't possible= a company site)

Creating users with a CSV map, I have to get in to it seems difficult to proteq on the webserver.

I'm exploring the Internet to find a solution to the following wish:

A possibility to show at the first occasion of logging in, a disclaimer with an accept option. Only the first time and the user must accepted it to continue (the user registration option is not availible because only employees may use our site, so the user iscreated by the admin)

I'm looking for a way to import or edit some information in a quick way.

The case - XOOPS is used for our Intranet. We want't to make it possible for the employee to see his credits like holiday ours.

Basicly its possibel to edit a field in "my account" but this is a hell of a job because it concerns 250 employees.

We would like a option to edit this quicker, so here are mine idees

- import an excel file with all users into the database, reserve a field in my account
- A list in the admin panel so we can edit it manually.
- A new module with the requested option
- An existing module ( I can't find witch)
- An existing module with a adjustment

Mayby there is somone among you who can guide me in the right direction. My knowledge of PHP/MYSQL is limited to little adjustments.
