Hi,
All I get is a error dsc and the debug come up with nothing. When I put the wrong link in it give me that error, so something is working.

I'm not on 5. on MySQL so I'll fix that. The mod I'm using
cbb3.08,catads,liaise,myalbum,news1.53,friendfinder,protector,framework 1.08,userpages,xoopspoll,xoopseditor--xoops 2.0.16 wasn't sure if a module might be in conflict.

For setup,and uploading, what's your basic set up is,xoops version, what editor.

error dsc!!

Working on the x_movie mod, when i upload the file i get error DSC.
Looking on Google it everything to SanDisk 512 MB Memory Stick for a camera, user with sysadmin privledges? got to be more to sysadmin setting, but not sure where to look debug doesn't show anything,running any other modules.this download came from the authors site x_movie v1.7 custom 2.3
The install of the site was green, the only setting that I tried to change and didn't was the XOOPS_DB_(xoops) security.
Thanks for any help.

Edit: could this be the php.ini memory setting ot enough?
I'll reset anyway.

Hi All,
Having trouble with the basic install.
"Please set after the ROOT path. (Use opening and trailing slashes /pathtoupload/ )"
What are they wanting here please?
my path is /home/*****/public_html/uploads....
the Module set itself up as: /uploads/
I've triedhttp://www*******/uploads. which to me would be after the ROOT? If someone say root path to me it's /home/***/**/public_html/
But when uploading I get the error dsc and can't find what this error is?

My problem is this register_globals=ON, one of my main sites software package I run, needs register_globals=off. So changing the server setting isn't the problem, but isn't there a security problem with that setting? And going to the website this version is no longer supported.

Hi All,
I've look at email modules, but not clear if there is one that will set up a system for user too. example username@site[dot]com. I've seen one on the net that works with XOOPS & joomla, but using 2.16 haven't looked close to see if it would integrate.

Thanks guy!! I had it installed correctly, Taking a closer look this in no way operates like a normal forum. I see the sub forum here and and couldn't follow that design.
With what info you've supplied, looking at the structure of the forum, I see more on it's config..

Hi All.
Been at this for 2 days and can't get a forum to work?
newbb_2.02 installed, couldn't figure out how to install sub cats, and not much point in 2.02 if everything is on 3.08. So I installed 3.08, seam to be fine but couldn't again figure out how to operate the mod, Cats install but how do you install the sub cats?
auto..
domestics..
european..
I'm running the new Xoop .16 Can you start with 3.08 right from the start, or do I need to upgrade up to this version!
3.08 seam to be good install but couldn't add subs.
