Thanks! But is there a way to turn it off completely by modifying a script somewhere?

How do I prevent xoops from resizing images automatically, or how can I change the default image width it will automatically resize it to?

I'm upgrading from XOOPS 2.0.18 to 2.5.5 and I encounter the following problem. Although all the updates seems to be fine, even the last upd-2.5.4-to-2.5.5, somehow upd-2.4.x-to-2.5.0 is not successful and I am unable to proceed with upgrade and it keeps trying to update upd-2.4.x-to-2.5.0. Below is the prompt from the screen (y is OK and x is not)

XOOPS system upgrade

Checking applied upgrades:

cnt-2.2.x-to-2.3.0 y
licence-upgrade-keygen-2.4.0-to-2.4.1 y
upd-2.0.13-to-2.0.14 y
upd-2.0.15-to-2.0.16 y
upd-2.0.16-to-2.0.17 y
upd-2.0.17-to-2.0.18 y
upd-2.0.18-to-2.3.0 y
upd-2.3.0-to-2.3.1 y
upd-2.3.3-to-2.4.0 y
upd-2.4.0a-to-2.4.0 y
upd-2.4.x-to-2.5.0 x
upd-2.5.4-to-2.5.5 y

The website itself looks ok, but when I tried to get into the admin.php file, I get a blank screen instead, so I can't access the admin menu at all.

Any ideas what I can do to resolve this? Thanks in advance....

Stop Image from Opening in New Window

Hi,

Everytime I post an image (via URL), the image appears but its also clickable such that it opens in a new window to display the image on its own. How do I stop that? I just want to display the image without an option to open in new window.

Also, if I want to have a small black border appear on every image I post, is there a way to do that automatically?

Thanks!

MyMenu & iMenu unable to store links

I've just installed XOOPS 2.5 and I am trying to create a link menu on the side.

I have tried both the latest MyMenu & iMenu modules, but for both, everytime I try to add a menu link, nothing happens after I submit. Basically, I cannot add any new items / links.

Do you know what might be wrong? I am able to add new items in other modules like iframe, etc.

Thanks for the advise. I did that and it came back with :

d:\mysite

but when I keyed that in under XOOPS documents root physical path, and I after I hit Next, it automatically changes to

d:/mysite

and it still says No XOOPS installation could be found in the specified folder.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Incorrect physical paths

I've used XOOPS for a number of years and have installed several in the past, however, I'm working with a new web host and they haven't been particularly helpful with resolving my problem during installation. l have uploaded the files to the root folder and set all the necessary permissions. I am also able to run the installer, on all step 3, everthing looks like its fine :

Server API cgi-fcgi
Microsoft-IIS/6.0
PHP version 5.2.13
MySQL extension 5.0.51a
Session extension Success
PCRE extension Success
file_uploads ON

All optional extensions are ok as well.

However in step 4 under Paths settings :

XOOPS documents root physical path is blank (which I assume should be the case, since its installed in the root), but I get a message : No XOOPS installation could be found in the specified folder.

I've never come across this problem before. I've tried putting in the remote path details as shown in the FTP (eg. /d:/website), but it doesn't work either.

Anybody have any idea what might be wrong?

Thanks!

Unable to access Admin Menu after changing domain name

I am running XOOPS 2.0.16.

Recently, I decided to change my website's domain name, but I left my database unchanged.

I also did the following:

- updated mainfile.php with the new XOOPS_URL
- deleted all files in /cache & /templates_c
- templates_c, cache, uploads are set to 777, mainfile.php is set to 666

I am able to access my website with the new domain and I am able to log into my administrator account from the main page. However, when I click on the Administrator Menu link (admin.php), it says 'You do not have the right to access this area'.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
