can you please switch to the default template set then go to the themes/modules/ folder and make the changes there.

let see if these changes work

Ok I did that and sadly the changes did not show. Any more ideas? Thank you for your help so far.

Yes, cache is completely disabled for all of my modules in preferences.

maybe there is already a template defined for your module and it is overriding your changes

We've got to be getting closer. I edited those templates I found in the module's theme as well which was a great suggestion, but my changes still aren't showing. Like I mentioned I have two template sets in the system. One is called default, and the other I called "clone." When I edit these files over FTP, am I editing the "clone" set or the default? How do I make sure I'm editing the "clone" set?

Ugh, I am just trying to make a simple change to a template and it's not taking. I've been able to do this before no problem. (Ages ago, though.)

I've got the "check templates for modifications" option set in general settings. On that same screen, I've got the correct theme selected, and the correct template set.

I edit my templates in the Template Manager and I've tried doing this with and without regenerating files, and the changes do not show. I've checked the source and they don't show there, either. Yet, when I view the files via FTP, the source code changes show up fine. I've tried different browsers and clearing the templates_c folder. Nothing is working.

What am I missing? XOOPS 2.5.5

I'm looking for a way to make the DHTML XoopsEditor recognize HTML code. It recognizes it for the News module automatically, but not the MyAlbum-P module. Does anyone know how/where to change this??

My site has access for admins only, so it's not a risk to allow this.

Are there any good instructions out there for this? Do I need to go upgrade to a lower version first? Only instruction I can find were for 2.5.1a, and that was missing the upgrade folder, so I went back to 2.4.5... any help??

EDIT: Nevermind, I just had to scroll down. :)

I am using the News module ver. 1.5 on XOOPS 2.0.18.2, and am wondering where I can change the "target=_blank" HTML code to prevent the links in news articles from opening in new windows.

I have checked the templates and can't find what I need there. Can someone point me in the right direction maybe??

Just wanted to follow up with the fix for this issue. I had a duplicate copy of theme called "Copy of gunmetal" that I had been editing, and I also had the original "gunmetal" theme in my list also. For whatever reason, the "Copy of" theme was looking for the file in the regular "gunmetal" theme. I renamed the "Copy of" to "gunmetal" and that resolved the issue!

Thanks a ton for the help Burning. Much appreciated.
