Sent confirmation for new password request and link, link worked fine, even said new password sent. just no email with the new password? Any ideas?
XOOPS 2.0.18.1
PHP version 5.2.5
MySQL version 5.0.51a-community
Apache version 2.2.9 (Unix)

Any way to change p/w in phpmyadmin? Can't in XOOPS edit user as old p/w is required I think?

That's the msg at top and bottom of the admin page, all the module logos, gone...

Admin can be accessed by direct link i.e.
www.xoopsurl.com/admin.php or
www.xoopsurl.com/modules/system/admin.php and everything is there, mods, data, even the site seems normal to anon and registered users.

So what did he f-up and how do I replace it? I'll deal with the upgades (it's a 2.0.9.2 install) and beefing up security soon after.

Thanks in advance,
DJ.
P.S. How about some turkish xoopsters find this asswipe and break his fingers

Zen Cart Help - Minor details I think...

Hiya,

Have been building an experimental cafe ordering system using zen cart. For the most part, it works reasonably well, however, because it's a resaurant, I don't need/want that whole loggin/account creation stuff at checkout, it just needs to resolve to shopping cart main page and a call in phone number for delivery or pick up of the meal.

I've been bashing my head against the crt trying to find those includes or redirect files, and I never got a response from the developer (imagine columbia?). I'll keep poking around, but if anyone's had some experience with osCommerce (which seems to be the origin of zen cart) or with zen cart, I'd really appreciate the pointers.

Happy New Year and many thanks in advance.
DJ.

Hiya, had this problem before on a diff site, slightly diff symptoms this time.

I recently put a new XOOPS 2.0.14 on it's own domain, edited the mainfile.php to resolve on the new domain, then my admin access through the new domain changes/disappears. I get the welcome msg when I log in, but get "sorry, don't have perm..." msg if I try to access admin, edit user, etc. (using direct links in address bar because user menu is not visible).

I can access it all if I use the subdomain it is originally installed on, again I have to type in the url to get to anything in admin as all the links now resolve on the new domain.

Any ideas?
DJ

Forum DB error, post text missing

Error

SQL query: Edit

SHOW INDEX FROM `xoops_bb_posts_text` ;

MySQL said: Documentation
#1016 - Can't open file: 'xoops_bb_posts_text.MYI' (errno: 145)

Is the error found in phpmyadmin. Also noticed 0 rows in Table: xoops_bb_forum_access, doesn't sound right either.

Any ideas how it might have happened and how to restore the forum and posts?

Thanks,
DJ.

Thanks all for the input. Never did pinpoint the cause, best guess it was the older version xcgal installation.

Was quicker to start over.

Not firewall or anything like that, I can access other sites fine.

Did a repair on the session table AND the entire DB for good measure...still nothing.

Thanks Monty,
DJ.

Thanks Jensclas,

Been there...
Done that....

And in MySQL DB, user menu block shows as visible (value 1)

Some of this issue just isn't seeming logical.
Is there a way to reset all the values in the DB to defaults via the phpmyadmin interface?
DJ.

All those are correct in phpmyadmin
admin 1
user 2
anon 3

All 3 users (original admin and 2 tests) have been set to admin group via phpmyadmin.

Is it poss that it's something in mainfile.php? I did edit that to resolve to the domain name, but that was all I changed.

I'm about to give up and start over
DJ
