Surprisingly, that was the first thing that came to my mind. Removing the statcounter. I did this, but to no avail. I am starting to think it is my host now, I am using Go Daddy. Go Daddy's DBs are not localhost, which is probably slowing thigns down. But I would really hate to have more downtime in my site. Is moving XOOPS from server to server okay without any loss?

Hi, I just freshly installed XOOPS 2.0.15 on my server, and it is running great! however my Private messaging does not work. As I recall hearing it is built in correcT? So I would not need to install a module as in previous XOOPS versions.

When i visit a members profile, it does have the Pm link, when i click it, nothign happens, and an error sign appears in IE status bar. With Error on Page. If anyone can help me fix this that would be awesome, or if a module is needed, please point me to it. Thanks, if you need any more information to help me, please let me know.

It has been a hectic night for me!
I am using XOOPS 2.2.4

I tried updating CBB from 2.32 to 3.05 earlier, and it failed. So, i uninstalled it completely and did a fresh install of 3.05. Except now, I am having more problems then before. I am getting a white page, on many options. Such as create a new topic, permissions section in admin. This is causing me a lot of stress, and would like to have this fixed ASAP. If anyone can help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I have not changed anything in the Cache.

What's a reasonable setting for most modules?

<?php

// $Id: version.php 185 2006-01-22 23:49:01Z skalpa $

define("XOOPS_VERSION","XOOPS 2.2.4");

?>

Okay, so im not that slow, that means im definitely running on 2.2.4. So if the 2.2.x has been abandoned, is there any way to fully upgrade to the newest version without losing anything?

Thanks for your prompt help by the way.

Hi, I have been using XOOPS for about 2 months now. I instaleld it through Go Daddys preinstalled package. The site is running great, however, the seems to be horribly slow now. I think updating XOOPS to the latest version will hopefully help, but I ran into problems. This sounds stupid, but I dont know what version i am using. according to goDaddy it is 2.2.4 and on the modules admin page its 2.13 Im not sure which one to follow. The site is super slow and I cant stand it anymore, so any help would be much appreciated.

Once I get the corect version, can someone point me to the right update package too?

www.bayareapsychos.com see for yourself. thanks.
