I think right now, on Catads's index page, all the latest ads are presented in one table, -below the categories.
It would be nice to have the latest adverts (on Catads index page) presented by categories
Or an option, to choose which categories should appear on the index page, and or maybe how many latest adverts should be on the Catads' index page.

With that clicking on your banner!!
The trick with Adsense!!

When you apply for adsense. Simple Do Not Subscribe with or thru the computer that you are using daily for that purpose.

Better go to a cafe somewhere to subscribe to adsense.

If one day by mistake or by curiosity you click the banner at home on your computer, then there will be little risak of being banned. the IP or whatever will be different.

[EDITED by vaughan to change text to lowercase]

Please in future do NOT POST IN UPPERCASE!!!

it is classed as shouting and is harder to read.. thanks.

Thanks guys,
I will see what I can do and try get the most out of it.
Until I know what exactly they want and or meet them up to discuss , nothing has happen.

Effort ! one whole year of work on that with less than four months active, and phase by phase in the right direction..

Selling off the whole thing is always a better option.
The money is best when you need it to invest in other projects and xmas is around. - they will have to pay..

Kaotik; thanks you for the feed back.

It is an existing website, and not even 4 months old - (a baby, not even crawling yet ), - with an offer from a multi-national company.
The answer to them could be "no, sir thank you very much for your offer."
or, I sell it.
the domain worth some money and I always trade mark things ( a bad habit trade marking - )

If I don't sell them, - they have the $, they can come in with something similar and destroy the existing one.
I know they are after the domain and concept.. Again they want the whole site.

It would have been easier if they had asked for the domain straight away .

Hi guys.
I have one simple question to any one with an answer.

By selling a website which is using XOOPS core system and different modules, is the person/owner breaching any GPL/GNU ?
it is only the website using XOOPS which is in question and not the code, and yet the website is using XOOPS system.!

Thanks for your feed back.

Over the weekend, -No I do not know nothing !!

Some cooking and biking with my son is on my agenda.

Today I had 12 hours none stop work /negotiation from 5 to 5pm ; worse what was meant to be done, was not done - some-one forgot something.

I want to sleep and sleep and sleep. If I manage to sleep at-least up to 8am, I will be happy - after waking up for one week from 4am..

Can I have a wish?!
Yes; that is what I would have like if it was possible.

Registration and activation of new members.
Getting rid of in-active account.

When a new person register to become a member of any XOOPS system, ((one of the option according to how the webmaster has set his or her website)) an activation key is sent out to activate the new account .

Obviously on many occasion people register, but they never activate their account. It could be annoying if you are running a large site, with many inactive accounts.
You might want to get rid of these accounts one by one. In case you have a few members that is no big deal, - but with a large site with thousands of members!!
maybe a new solution could !! for the webmaster to set the number of days that a new account should be activated, ((set the number of days in the admin)) after the xyz number of days then the un-activated account is automatically deleted, -or one day before the never-activated account is deleted, an email reminder is sent to that particular email, -just in case that person still wish to activate the account.
If he fails, then the account is deleted from the system automatically.
that is just an idea ..!

When you install any CMS, there are some settings to set and make it work the way you wish.
In your admin section of any site or this site, there is a 'CONFIGURATION' system hidden somewhere, - with that you will dictate to your site the way it should work.
