That didn't work. Any other suggestions?

I need to make the user profile Extra Info text area field longer. I looked through this site and the system module files, but I cannot find any way to make the field show more text when you save changes to your profile. You can type an endless number of characters in the field, but it will only save a small number of them.

Any idea when the new profile module will be released? Or a link to the information?

I feel like I have been all over this site and web! I am in need of a way to organize the site's avatars into categories. This is for a role-playing website that relies heavily on the avatars for game play. Because LOTS of avatars are uploaded, they need to be seperated into categories of male and female to make it easier for members to find what they need.

Another alternative would be to allow users to remotely link to an avatar rather than uploading them to the website.

Any help with these possibilities?

PS
The yogurt module will not work as it only allows the user to choose from the images they have uploaded. I need a "central" avatar collection that any user can choose from.

Has anyone had any luck cloning this module? I absolutely love it and would like to use it for more than one purpose on my site.

I have been all over the Internet and I cannot find a download for this module. Does anyone have a link to an actual download, or is someone willing to send me a copy of their download?

PS
Just so you know, I have already tried the Freeform Solutions website and their download links don't work.

I haven't decided which module to use yet. It is for a client's website and she doesn't want to spend much money or use a payment gateway. If I could get her to use one, this wouldn't be an issue. Thank you for the information, though.

I guess I will have to create a webpage outside XOOPS that the customer is directed to for entering their creidt card information.

FYI
Yes, I have tried explaining to my client that this is not a good way to do business, but she feels it "looks" more professional than using a payment gateway.

I need to set up a site so that visitors can pay for a service by entering their credit card information into a form that is on a secure server. I have the SSL and have tested it, but when I am logged in and go to the module on the SSL, I am logged off the site.

Is there some way I can go to the module on the SSL and stay logged into the site?

Links in Theme based on user groups

I am working on a theme that needs to have links in the header/top nav that must be based on user groups. I know I can include <{if}> statements based on if the user is admin, user, or guest, but can I include one for user group?

For example, I have a link that only users in group ID 4 can view, is there an <{if}> statement that restrict that link from showing unless the logged-in user is in group ID 4?
