Hi

Could somebody pse tell what it is I am doing wrong! I'm totally at my wits end.

I have created a custom center right block for the home page.

this is the code:
<table valign="top"><tr ><td><img src="http://www.mydomain.com/images/xoops.jpg alt="Club News" width="80" height="90" border="0"></td>
<td><font size="
1" color="#0d9d0d"><b>Glenville wins Knock Out Trophy.</b><br><br>
The club ended the year on a high by winning the Mala Moodaley Knock Out Trophy in fine style.</font><br><br><br><br></td></tr>
<
tr>
<
td align="right" colspan="2"><class="news" href="http://www.mydomain.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2"><font size="1">Read More...</font></a></td></tr></table>

Now the problem I am haveing is that the image is not showing. It only shows when I use the
[img][/img]
tag, no mater what file format the img is saved in and the table is not aligning up where it should there seems to be linespacing that I dont know how to get rid of.

I'd really appreciate some pointers here. I'll be looking forward to any comments on this.

thanking you all in advance

Hi

Thank You for that bit of information. I'm not really all that clued up about soccer so its a bit difficult for me to explain. (I'm trying to create the site for someone). Someone who knows about soccer will know exactly what I mean about fixures etc. There apparently was a module sometime ago which was modified for use for a cricket site.

I am able to make cosmetic changes, my knowledge of php is limited and I am not able to make the kind of modifications necessary on an existing module, so therefore I would need to enlist the services of someone who could.

Hi Billy,

I've just done the search on Google and a link does come up in the search, but if I click on the link, I get a blank page with the following on it: db connection failed :(

The same thing happens if I click on the 'Development' link on the 'Community' Menu on the left hand side of this site.

Hi

Could somebody please recommend a professional, and reliable XOOPS module developer?

I am needng someone who could create a custom module for a XOOPS website.

The website is for a Soccer club and the module I am needing developed is to be used for the fixtures, match results, premier league logs etc. A feature I am also needing is the ability to create a block which shows the Featured Junior and Senior player.

This website is for a youth soccer club in my hometown of Port Elizabeth SA and the members range from 7 - 17yrs old.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback and look forward to the opportunity to do business. I may also be emailed at mshepherd [at] webwolf [dot] co [dot] za.

Regards
Wolfone.

Hi Everyone :)

Please could someone tell me if it is possible to make the index page of a module, a block on the homepage.?

I would like to have the index page of the news v1.55 module as a center left block on the homepage.

Hi

I have installed the latest version of XOOPS V2.0.15. I have PHP 5 on my PC. And the mod works fine on my PC.

My problems is that after uploading to my server and after installing the news V1.44 and having set all the desired settings in the 'General Configuration' - I then added a topic and set the permissions for the webmaster to approve/submit/view articles.

But now when I go to post/edit article the form with which to add the article is not showing?

I have deleted the mod off the server and reinstalled it 3 times now and its still doing the same thing.

I have now also asked my hosting company to switch to PHP5 with the hopes that this will make a difference.

Could anyone tell me if there is perhaps something that I am over looking. I would appreciate any feedback.

Regards

Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone could lead me in the right direction. I have installed the piCal module and hve set the mini calendar block to display in the right hand side column.

My problem is is that the font used on the calendar is much bigger than the size font I want it to be. I am really battling trying to find what file I need to edit in order to get the font size smaller. I've looked at all the style sheets and virtually every file in the modules folder and cant seem to find it.

I really would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me please which file to edit so that I can change the font size.

Thanking you all in advance.
