Dear All:

I am new to Xoops, and I have installed XOOPS + AppServ on my PC. However, after the installation complete, the XOOPS control panel has shown up. Then I put in all the required information into it, such as User Name, Password, and URL...etc.

But when I try to use XOOPS on the second time, then I don't know how to get into the Control Panel again? I have tried to type the IP address or even the domain name, but i still can't get in.

So, I have uninstall the program and re-install in again. But this time is even worse, because the XOOPS Setup box does not even show up this time.

In this case, do i need to format my window system on my PC? Can anyone advise me what to do with this?

How are you! I recently start using XOOPS + AppServ to build my website. However, I have faced the following problems...

Firstly, I have installed XOOPS & AppServ successfully. Then I follow the XOOPS setup to enter all the necessary information, such as User Name, Password and URL...etc.

The problems are:
1. I am not too sure how to get into the XOOPS Control Panel when I restart the computer again.

2. Since I am unable to open the XOOPS Control Panel, therefore, I have uninstall and re-instal XOOPS and AppServ again. But once I have re-instal XOOPS & AppServ, I also cannot see the XOOPS Control Panel in anyway. ( Eventually, the control panel was shown on my 1st installation )

3. The first URL I put in was http://www.intersourceasia.com. Is that a problem if this website is currently hosted with the hosting company? Actually, I have also try to put in the IP address ( http://128.0.0.1/install/index.php ' ) but I still unable to see the XOOPS Control Panel..

Can anyone advise me what to do under this circumstance? Do I need to format the whole Window system on my PC?
