Ok..

I am trying to get some blocks to display on my site:

http://www.thedigitalrob.com/html

The problem is that the blocks will not show up on the left or the right of my template...ONLY in the center column

When you select the "location" of your block from the admin tool it looks like this:

O O O O O

If I select the outer left or right it does not show up. If I select the inner left or right OR the middle it displays.

Is it my template that is stopping me or something I have wrong with my blocks?

I have the groups setup to view them as well.

Thanks.

whttp://www.thedigitalrob.com/html

you will see the word "CONTENU" right under the graphic. I found it in the CSS file...but it seems to be a command cause I changed it to something else and it changed my templates formatting.

Is there any way to make it to where that word will not display?

Thanks.

Ok I would like to setup my XOOPS site to where I can make multiple header banners and the site randomly selects one to display.

I would like this to cycle through and select a new one whenever you go to a different areas of the site.

Can someone explain to me if this is possible and if so how to do it?

Thanks.

Hey all.

New to XOOPS but it really looks promising. I plan on running a gameing guild website with xoop.

Ok here is my question. I use Dreamhost. If you are a dreamhost member you know that they have a nice little interface where you can create your MySQL databases ect...

I have uploaded XOOPS to a directory on my site. I want to setup everything to make it run.

I can get the install page to come up but I dont know what to enter.

I have no experience with MySQL. Do I create a new database from the dreamhost interface and then put that information in?

I was just curious if someone would basically give me a step by step walkthrough on how to do this.

Thanks.
