In XOOPS I know you can establish another group and assign certain permissions. But I would simply "transfer" the setting of one group to a new one that I am creating? Is that possible?

My site has been hacked so and I am rebuilding, so I ask the following Question: After removing the xoops_data and xoops_lib folders from the public_html folder, where do I place them? (or should it remove from the site altogether?) And, should the codes references in the Mainfile.php point to their new location?

I am also having trouble remove Ack!soft from the welcome line. How did those who tried finally acommplish this? I tried the suggestions above.

Hi all,
I would like to be able to extract a list of my 500+ members and create a text file of at least the names and email addresses. I have looked at using one of the modules (membership and xroster) but none seems to do the trick.
Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone know of a way to welcome a member by user name after logging in. Something like "Welcome, (User name)!"
near the top of the page or center block. I suspect the User name would have to be pulled from the member's list.
