I'm not at all sure how this would work, but I would like to see a module which integrates with speech functionality, either sensing what is contained in a block when a specific mouse click happens, or presenting speeched text on mouseover, or something similar. Any ideas?

Newly Uploaded Modules will not show up in System Modules List

After successfully installing many modules and getting things running relatively smoothly, I tried today to add a couple of new modules, hoping to get some usable content manager (Content is driving me bats - no matter how I rearrange things in the module manager, they STILL won't appear in the order I ask them to).

So I uploaded wf-sections, into the modules subdirectory, and then went to System Modules to install it - but it's not there.

I deleted that subdirectory and re-uploaded, chmod'd the directory to 777, and still nothing shows up in System Modules.

I tried with tiny-content as well, thinking I'd just gotten a bad batch of wf-sections, but it won't appear either.

I'm stumped - haalp? Have I hit some sort of invisible limit to the number of modules that can be installed? If not, how can I get this to work?

All Headlines gives me is a blank page, no matter what I set up. Am I expecting more than I should?

Oh, thank goodness - thought I was going nuts. In Safari, soon as I try to log in, at all, everything grinds to a halt, and to make things worse, many other sites grind to a halt as well.

I'm Mac 10.4.2 - Safari 2.0 (412.2), and this is making the XOOPS setup nearly impossible. What might be different? It's the same with and without Sogudi and PithHelmet. I did not have this trouble before going to Tiger - in fact, I helped a friend set up his admin side, via Safari, pre-Tiger, with no problems whatsoever. It was very very fast.

How can we fix this?

Install instructions were thin.. but I followed them, and installed by way of the Modules admin panel, made folders, and then tried to make a category.

All I get is An Error occured while saving the category. Here are a list of error(s): (and nothing), then I am taken from the admin panel and tossed to the main site.

I had installed the normal Sections module, but have it flagged Inactive. What buttons do I push next, to fix this?
