Kick and new question;

I i still can't ad text in my pictures textboxes for some reason? ( posted above )

Now the new question is: is there a way to have registered members uploaded pictures be added instantly, without admin autorisation first? ( i can delete them later on if pics are not suited )

Who can help me get this to work, i realy like this module, but need some help to get it to work all the way.

magalerie Text edit problem

I run Magalerie, works great, but i canot enter text in the text box? ( description )
Is this a bug, or another problem, and how can i solve it so i can put dicriptions with my pictures.

Error:
"update de magalerie impossible!
1054: Unknown column 'description' in 'field list'"

I am running Web Site Traffic Report
Web Stats

Version
2.1

But it does not register anny counts or hits, though i know theirare people online?

Made Cache and Config.php writable, still no counts?

Install went perfect, no errors... i dont get it annymore

I also have a question concerning this topic.

I also tried Imige galery to no effect.

I.m looking for something simpel, that displays 1 or perhaps 2 thumbs in the richt blocks ( top & bottom )

When clicked the uploaded pictures show, but when return to previous page is cliked you don't end up in a picture album, but the main page.

Anny advise?

Hi there, XOOPS is running perfectly on my new website, but i cannot seem to find the correct block or module to post a welcome message in the main index page?

I've tried the news blocks, but they onley show 1 line, and to read the rest you'd have to click on it.

I want a block on the center and top of the page displaying a text to always stay there. ( text like Hello welcome to this and this, hope you enjoy your stay here feel free to...bla bla )

Who can help me, perhaps it is my poor english why i can't find that block?

Second i would like to have 1 or maybe 2 random pictures on my site ( thumbnails) in the right side top and bottom, clickable to view in full size, but when you cklick back, you go back to the main index instead of a picture album what most modules do?

Anny advise on that?
I'm not a PHP wizzard, and n00b, so treat me jentle please :)

Headlines won't show on Index?

I'm running a test configuration via XAMMP on my own system and that one shows the Headlines-Module RSS feed from CNN i made, perfectly.

But now on my real website Motorbike-Forum.com i set the setting exactly the same, but it does not show up on the main index?

No mateer where i put ut, what RSS feed i run, it wont show up ?

Who can help?

Building my own site, how to transport to ISP with unchanged settings?

Hi all there.

I am an absolute n00b with PHP and stuf.

I am using XAMMP on my own computer to run XOOPS 2.0.10

This all works great. Now i have ordered some webspace, from a host, and my own WWW....COM name.

Is it possible ( and simple enough? ) to put the site i have created with XOOPS on my local machine, ( forum complete with topics , banners, news, some simple modules etc. ) and keep updating till i get my acount from the host, is it possible to coppy this site onto the new webdomain? or do i have to start over again from scratch?

Who can advise me what to do, so i don't lose all my work, or have to start over again.
