Hey all, so I have submitted the latest update to the weather mod to the XOOPS module repository so keep an eye out in the downloads section for weather_1.4

Hi, I have developed several modules from scratch for use with xoops, some of which are ajax enabled for example. You can see examples of them here:

I am curious about the possibility of contract work or even a full time job as a XOOPS programmer.. if they indeed exist.

Help Rendering xoopsCode

SO I am creating a new module.. in using the XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea form item to add a welcome message to my module index page. That works fine but when I go tot he front page I get this:

[B][SIZE=LARGE][COLOR=003366][FONT=ARIAL]HOW DO?[/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/B]


I've tried displayTarea() and xoopsCodeDecode() with no luck. My index page isn't using smarty at all... is smarty what transforms the xoopsCode into formatted code for dsiplay?

That's set in the preferences? Didn't see it under the general prefs.....

I too have this problem with custom blocks....

Can't use uploaded images and the preview option doesn't work.....

did you find any answers?

Is there a prefereance to allow XOOPS code in posts? I notice that on my site I don't have these options:

Enable Smiley
Enable XOOPS Code
Attach Signature
Notify me of new posts in this thread

Yeah.. I've tried all four modes with no luck... I can't even get plain text to preview.....

I'm using the most recent version of xoops... wonder if there's some permission thing or a preference thing I'm missing....

When I'm adding content to a block using the exact form I am using to add this question... I select an image from the image manager button but it won't display when I click the preview or submit button... Can't get the previews to display anyhow.....

This is the type of code that is added to the block but no image will display...

(Edited tag so it would not actually render the image here)
