Really. I have same problem with 2.0.14 and I found it now. You have to go to General preferences and turn off GZIP compression.

And now I have new question. How to adopt this hack to use both Simplified URLs and gzip compression. I really want it all. ((:

P.s.: sorry for my terrible English.. (:

Until now I have used Short Urls, but yesterday I found Simplified URLs and I like it more. (:

I installed Simplified URLs 1.5 and it works. But really strange: some pages don't load, and all pages loads really slow - 20-30 sec. Does somebody know what is problem? Can somebody help me in my problem? (:

Yes.. It's compatible. Just put Smartsection rule BEFORE Simplified URL hack lines ((:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^articles\.([a-z]+)\.([0-9.]+)/ modules/article/seo.php?seoOp=$1&seoArg=$2

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^.*\.(htm|html) loadpage.php [L]
RewriteRule ^$ loadpage.php [L]

I have similar problem about week ago.. I think I will write instruction little later, but now for you this quick tour.
1. Install Zen Cart. (: You know it's important to force it working. (:
2. Go to modules\shop\xoops_version.php and edit it.
3. Find 158 line. From 158 to 164 line you see your block specification. Just add something like this:

$modversion['blocks'][2]['file'] = "blocks.php";
$modversion['blocks'][2]['name'] = "Zen Cart Categories";
$modversion['blocks'][2]['description'] = "Zen Cart Categories";
$modversion['blocks'][2]['show_func'] = "b_shop_blocks";
$modversion['blocks'][2]['edit_func'] = 'b_shop_blocks_edit';
$modversion['blocks'][2]['template'] = 'shop_standard.html';
$modversion['blocks'][2]['options'] = "categories";

4. Go to Admin section->modules->Shop and click Update Icon.
5. Go to Blocks module - you see already 2 blocks!!!! (:
6. Make changes as you want.
7. Go to Zen Cart Administration and login.
7. Make Rebuild Cache.

All works! ((:

If you need one more module - just repeat all.. (:

hmm.. I have tried through template set, but it doesn't help.. So I edit shop/xoops_version.php and add there one more block description. This works. Now I have who modules: Currencies and Categories. But! I set Currencies block to show in the right column. It works on the all pages exept (((: Surely Zen Cart. ((: I turned off ZenCart's right column, it doesn't help. So when I go to Zen Cart's page, right column suddently disapears.. ):

You can base on my experiments, and (I'm sure) we will make it perfect... (:

Quest

It's really strange. I tried to make such before. But after new clean install i make all you write point by point and all works! ((: Great!!! Thanks a lot! ((:

But I have last question: how I can make many instances of this block? If I need for example in left column "Categories" and "Shopping Cart", and in the right "New Products"? Here is only one block...)): Where I have to look?

Hmm... May be I'm really stupid, but:

1. Build Cache Page:/modules/shop/buildcache.php
Doesn't work. I mean I'm going to blocks administration, edit Zen Cart Blocks, setting Categories.php. After it I'm making /modules/shop/buildcache.php. And - NOTHING.. Only if I choose Shopping Cart in options - it shows. Why it can be?

2. How to install for example 2 or 3 instances of Zen Cart Blocks with different options? I can't understand how I can make copy of block.. ):

Please Explain me somebody! (:

P.s.: Windows, XOOPS 2.0.13.2, Zen Cart 1.3 clean install (looking in FireFox).
