Try right mouse clicking where the image should be and see if you can see the url for the image. This should tell you if the path is at least correct.

Hi again all!

My banner for XOOPS won't show. In the IE browser, it shows as a broken image, and in Mozilla I see nothing at all. Any suggestions on what might be happening?

Hello All,
First post - long time PHPNuke user switching to XOOPS - nice... but
Have a problem with parts of modules - like topics manager and download manager - when I click them - I just get the same menu again - it's like it 'does nothing'

PHP 5.0.3
Apache 2.0.52
Trustix 2.2 Server (redhat based)

Server sitting in my basement so I can beat it with a hammer if needed!

TIA

First, especially if it is on a shared hosting server I would look at the server load. High CPU cycles generated by you or another site on the server could slow things like this.

Another thing to look at is the database queries taking place as the page loads. The sites front page looks pretty full and could generate a lot of queries. Enable MySQL Debug Mode to see the queries that take place and the time to load. Perhaps setting cache on some static items on the front page could help.

If you need help enabling this mode see my Tutorial on this subject.
