You can make a custom HTML block, where you can put HTML source code. If you only want to display the block in the news module make sure you just select 'News' in the module selector, otherwise it will appear on all pages.

No, that's not the problem. But i found the bug anyway. On some places in my settings (like the general settings) i used the url of my website with www preceeding it, and in some places (like my custom php menu) i used the url without www. So anytime i clicked on a link that didn't include www the login box suddenly re-appeared. Problem solved :)

No, that's switched off. What it also does is, after you've logged out and refresh, the user menu appears again! Without being logged in, so that's quite peculiar too...

Hey there,
i'm currently having some weird problems with the XOOPS user / login block. Whenever i log-in, the login block doesn't refresh, only when i do a manual refresh, and after a log-out, the buttons don't work as normal. For example, when i then try to do a log-in the user is redirected to the user information page! I've already tried to empty the sessions table in the db, but that didn't fix it.

Anybody knows this problem?

Displaying different blocks in module subpages

Hey,
i'm currently struggling with customizing the news module. I have installed the Topics Blocks Module, by Adam Hennessy, which works beautifully and which i use as a sort of 'overview' for the different news categories when a user enters the news module. However, whenever a user clicks on a story i want the topic blocks to dissappear so that only the story remains (and i can put in a small 'breadcrump' link at the top of the page to return to the overview page).

So, does anyone know how i can disable blocks in a certain subpage (in this case article.php) within a module?

Hi there,
i'm trying to include a custom submenu as described on jackj's website. This works quite nice, except for one thing: i selected my new custom menu to appear in the pages it needs to be, however, whenever i try to visit pages that are not part of a module (such as the search page or the password forget page) the menu doesn't appear. Does anybody know of any solution for this problem?
