Mastop Publish 1.1 and XOOPS 2.0.18.1 problem with Tinymce

Dear Friends,

I just updated XOOPS from 2.0.16 to 2.0.18.1. Unfortunately my Mastop Publish is not working anymore. The problem: the tinymce editor is not showing up anymore. Just a plain textfield is shown. In Firefox I get this error message:

Dear Xoopers,

Hopefully you voted already

My question: In the news module it is possible to click on print and get a printer friendly page. But I am missing the author's name (especially on the print out)! I figured that this file is responsible:

/modules/news/print.php

Well so far so good, but which variable do I have to use to print the author's name (or publisher's name)? I am totally desperate meanwhile because I tried at least 30 combinations of those variables but NONE show me the author's name on the printer friendly page. I really need some help now.

yahoo hosting seems to be problem

hello everybody!

does anyone have experience with Yahoo hosting? i have a runnig XOOPS site and tried today to transfer it to yahoo. well two things i can not fix:

1. yahoo says: no special chars in filename (1. problem with the template cache)
2. upload of files with spaces... not possible

can someone tell me, that this is a bad idea to host it with y!

well, i thought the same. nothing seems to work unless i checked every source code of each site i recently visited in the web. strange: within the source code i always see the same javascript line. it hasn't its origin from the internet. i started to investigate and saw, zonealarm is doing this. but by this time zonealarm wasn't active. however, zonealarm manipulated alg.exe so that http_referer will not be shown. the script pointed to my machine (127.0.0.1:3006) to the port 3006. i started tcpview from sysinternals to see who is using this port and saw alg.exe. well, i just deinstalled the software to be sure. Guess what: MY SITE IS BACK IN BUSINESS!

The script from Dave_L helped me a lot!

hi,
but do you see the icon to generate a pdf? if not, just update/generate the template from the module. this happend the first time to me. i couldn't see the icon (therefore no pdf's) but after updating/generating all 'news module' templates it suddenly appeared and worked but without my logo and my color (not this blue) and some other small cosmetic things.

additionally to this question i also have one

somehow if i change something in makepdf conf file it won't be in the generated pdf file. i just want to change the colors, text size and maybe a logo. is this basically possible? or does anyone know where to get some faq's or manuals?

(sorry for the most probably wrong posting. i am lost. i even didn't find with the local search engine something.)

i realised that if i enter a simple e-mail adress in a custom block then a dot '.' will be added automatically.

i do like this:
1. create a custom block
2. write simple text in it and an e-mail address without any tags!
3. save it, give access rights and make it visible
4. go to the page and i see the correct e-mail as a link now but with an additional dot at the end!
5. i use XOOPS 2.2.3 on linux (hosted)

maybe someone can help me. thank you anyway for reading about the small problems we have from time to time absolutely xoopsAdelic.

I tried to find infos about the 2.2 version of XOOPS. Where can I find what change or if it is a good idea to change from 2.0.13.1 to 2.2.x. What is the benefit from the new one? Can this version do upload's from users?
