The best, direct link is here:
Menus for Dummies

I'm still kind of amazed at the cloudiness in this area of clean menu to content linkage which is a bit weak here. Seems like a lot of hoop-jumping with all these blocks with fixed paths to get the desired effect of a 'normal' static site.

Hello, is there ANY menu system out there that can provide dynamic links to content in subcategories that go 2-3 levels deep?

It seems odd to me that this is not on the roadmap or part of the conversation, as this is fairly important for many sites.

I would guess that with most CMS's there is a fork in the road. Are we:
1) Portal
2) Content-Oriented
3) Hybrid of both

I think that any system architecture that moves toward #2 or #3, MUST offer some way of presenting 'static page' information in a logical way. By this I mean: It's great taht you can use WF-Channel or APS or Articles or any number of modules to create content. But why are ALL of the ones that organize the content news oriented and sorting by category / date.

Why can't there be a module that allows you to build the content AND the corresponding menus that show up where you determine and show sub-content appropriately.

WF-Sections has gone in an index direction, showing summaries of lots of stuff. But again, no menu linkage, you always have to build the menus by hand to individual bits of content.

If anyone cares to discuss further, let me know the right medium and I'll try to help craft something.

I just wanted to add that when I use Wiwimod with Firefox 1.x latest version, Htmlarea 3 does NOT behave properly.
In addition, every time I update something when the screen to "wait a moment or click here to go immediately" it just sits there, I have to manually click here to go on to the next wiwi modification.

So there is something funny about the behavior there.
Not sure if it's just wiwimod, but on news and such it seems to refresh fine.

Bump!

Has anyone made any progress on this?
Compared to Mambo, this per page meta issue and the ability to create STANDARD content in a 3 level menu navigation (dynamic) is somewhat lacking. I hope to see more work on this and will gladly test offer feedback on this.

The local link to file here is broken
You can find Tiny-D Here

Also started checking out WF-Sections, which speaks of great flexibility and potential but has no documentation and a lot of people are not understanding how to implement.
From the description it looks very powerful for inputting structured, 2 level content with good navigation
