I am looking for some help installing the Addresses 1.5 module. I am getting the following error. The only other version I can find is 1.7 which is a hack including google maps. I tried this but the map functionality was not working properly. Please let me know if there is another contact/addresses module I should consider. Thanks

news module: 1.66

I'm looking for help getting the news module working on a new site. The module installed properly and I can work on the back-end. When I go to the public site it displays only a white page. Other modules seem to be working fine. Once I deactivate the news module the site comes back online. Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem? Is there a more compatible news version that I should consider? Thanks

I fixed the issue by changing the config/startpage table in the d-base from "news" to "NULL". Thanks

apparently I have restricted the "profile" module from anonymous users as well and get the same loop.

I created a runaway loop and can not log into my site to fix the issue.

The issue:

The default module for my site is set to the "news" module.

From the admin controls I changed the permissions on the news module to not allow anonymous user access.

I proceeded to log-out and now the site displays the "Sorry you do not have permissions to access this area" page.

What url can I use to log-in without having to access the main index page which is stuck is a loop?

What is the proper code to get the following code to targeted a blank browser window?

I'm learning python and am interested in a module that will manage my code. I've tried using my standard "news 1.56" module without success. I need something that can recognize the tabbing structure and keep in tack. Is there currently anything available? Thanks, Gary

I figured out the problem. Don't have a fix but the site now works.

The module Web Links 1.1 is causing the problem when set as the default modules. It works fine if another module is the default.

Can someone help me find the developer of "Web Links" so I can try to resolve the issue.

I installed a new install of 2.3.1 and everything worked fine and test out on the mac and pc.

After one day when accessing the site, from mac osX, it went to "the white screen". The pc works fine

Turning on bug reporting provides nothing on the mac. Below is the report from the pc.
