More problems, I uninstalled newbb2 and removed it from my host space and then uploaded the files again, but when I go to install it I get this error message:

Installing NewBB
Table 'xoops_bb_categories' already exists
Unable to install newbb. Error(s):
Back to Module Administration page

meh?

I in the admin section in installed modules I have options to update the module and view info, no option to uninstall.

I've just installed newbb2 (latest v) but I just get loads of errors when using it and can't create catagories etc so I'd like to uninstall it and then reinstall it fully. However is the process of deleting the module directory with an ftp program good enough? Or is there a better way to uninstall?

I'd like to change the layout of the 7dana-round theme so its more like the xoops.org layout, what I mean is the two blocks left and right are extreme left and right and the centre block changes to fit the window size. people on the site I run keep complaining about the forum being to small and they want it to fit.

Is this possible and has anyone done it? I've looked at the theme.html file but I'm not sure where to start

Thanks.

I've installed the module that displays random images in a desired block, its called aleatoire 1.2. It displays the images fine but when you click on a page you get a 404 - File not found error message. The module is not in a language I speak so I may have done something wrong but the only options I can see are to upload 1 image, enter a name for it and description of the image. Like I said I may be wrong though because of the language.

You can find the module here :
https://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=89&lid=1355

Anyone able to help

[edit] looks like the language is french.

[edit2]Its ok, I've figured it out...on of the options was not for an image name but for the link to the image :)

Hi, I'm very new to XOOPS and I'm trying to get the forums module to display all replies in FLAT view like this forum instead of threaded. I have gone into [admin menu] >> [sys admin] >> [Preferences Main] >> [General Settings] and changed the "Default Comment Display Mode" to FLAT but this has not done anything, I've also updated the module template etc...oh and caching is off.

Flat view works fine in other forums I've made with XOOPS but this one (http://clanhls.sdxy.net) wont do what I want >.<

Can anyone help?
