i'm wondering if it's possible to create my own custom page and include the content from a module/block?
let me walk throguh why i'm trying to do this. i want to create custom rss pages for a module that does not have rss support (pical - an events calendar). what i need to know is what i need to include in this page in order to be able to call in the content from a module (i.e. todays events, upcomign week of events).
ideally, after i do that i'd like to then customize the page with rss valid code.
i hope that makes sense. i'm just not too familiar with the inner working of XOOPS in this aspect.

actually, i'm looking for the template or file for this appearance. i want to move where the category is called out.

ok, i was able to fix this. as per the recommendation, i went into myphpadmin and ran a repair to the database. this fixed all the above problems.

this morning i want to my site again to try to fix this and noticed ALL the news items were gone!
so, i went to myphpadmin into "xoops_stories" and it spit out this error
Can't open file: 'xoops_stories.MYI'. (errno: 145)

i am suddenly not able to edit or delete one specific news item (the rest i do not have this problem with). after i try to delete it, it seems to execute correctly but the item remains. when you click on it is says

if i flip on php debug mode i see this error flash while trying to delete.
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/offmke/public_html/v1/class/xoopsstory.php on line 222
the item (ironically ID 1) still shows up on the front page and in the backend.
the only thing different about this news item is that it was created form the "admin" account. yet, when logged in as admin i still cannot delete it.
help!

is it possible to more the xoosp banner system code into a custom block? i tried this and it didn't seem to work. has anyone else done this?
