Re: Banner links fail...

Thanks for responding, James.

Not getting any error messages.
Xoops - 2.0.9.2
php - 4.3.8
sql - 4.0.25-standard

I have used XOOPS banners on this server before without any problems...

Thanks, again, for the help.

Robert

Banner links fail...

I just put some banners up, but when you click on them they fail to load the called site. A new window opens with the XOOPS banner call statement in the URL address, nothing loads, the called site's URL doesn't show, and the browser says it's done.

Anybody know what's wrong???

Thanks.

Re: Problem with blocks....

Am I to assume then, that I can't do what I want? I'm trying to get something like this (all in the center column):

---------------------------
| block 0 |
---------------------------
| block 1 |
---------------------------|
| block 2 | block 3 |
---------------------------
| block 4 | block 5 |
---------------------------
| block 6 |
---------------------------|
| block 7 |
---------------------------|

Thanks!

Problem with blocks....

I'm having a problem weighting my blocks. I'm using three columns. In the center column I want to do this (I've numbered the blocks and include the weight):

block 0 - full width of the column - weight 0
block 1 - full width of the column - weight 1
block 2 - right half of center column - weight 2
block 3 - left half of center column - weight 2
block 4 - right half of center column - weight 3
block 5 - left half of center column - weight 3

(Here's where the problem comes in)

block 6 - full width of center column - weight 4
block 7 - full width of center column - weight 5

The problem is that block 6 and 7 show up between blocks 1 and 2 and I don't seem to be able to get them to move down the page.

Anybody have any ideas???

Thanks

Re: 404 error when calling Groups from System module

No, I copied the files from my test site (that worked) to the files on the site that didn't work. Sorry for the incomplete info...

Re: 404 error when calling Groups from System module

Thanks for the reply...

Yes, all the permissions are set correctly and all of the files that are supposed to be there are. I installed XOOPS on a test site I have and copied all the files in the group subdirectory over, but it still doesn't work so the files are in good shape. What's weird is that it worked just fine three days ago and I haven't done anything to it since then. As Snoopy says: "Arrrrrrgh!"

404 error when calling Groups from System module

I'm building a XOOPS site for a local newspaper and everything was going well until today. I had all my groups set up and operating to my client's specs. However, today when I tried to make some changes in the groups, I get an error 404 message when I call the Groups routine from the System module. I haven't made any changes since my last logon and all the files appear to be there. All other calls to submodules in the Systems module work fine. I'm at a complete loss as to what might be the problem. The web sites error log aren't much help - they just tell me the file wasn't found, but don't say WHICH file. Can anyone offer an explanation? I'd hate to have to start all over again...
