IS there any way to use invision power board instead of the standard forum in XOOPS (i.e. so users are shared etc)?

Is there any way of getting it so that when they login it comes up with a message "you have been banned" or something, or should i just give the banned group access to a block with the text "you have benn banned" and nothing else?

U need to pay for VB...er...phpBB is free, IPB is free for a kind of demo version and XOOPS is best

Does anybody know how to deactivate a user but keep their post count etc intact so they can be re-activated after a period of time?
