Again:
I find that for the good of the system XOOPS in Brasil it would be better and exclusion of reference the support in Brasil in this site.

We have some sites and the time will show which site supplies the best support.

in portuguese.

Ohh, one more thing, I also wrote a conversion script for phpNuke 6.9 to XOOPS 2.0.5.1 for converting your news, polls, links and encyclopedia.

Now I don't know if anyone wants this, but I would be more then happy to post the source code for all this stuff if there is interest.

Hello..

Is possible send this script to my email?

Thanks

In many cases of the headlines not working has nothing to do with the module itself, but the hosting provider you are with. Many hosting companies do not not allow site file to file linking/streaming with fopen .

If this is the case you should contact your webhosting company and ask them to enable this for you, some may not as they see it as a security issue. :-/

Hello Catzwolf..
I supose is not the problem.
How to explain the fact that the module opens rss of other sites in XOOPS and some xml, but does not open of other sites? ??
Exactly passing all for the Validator, it seems that they are all valid sources RSS.

For example: the RSS for xoops.org open correct,
Tested for valid RSS

But thishttp://www.interney.net/rss.php also a valid RSS Tested valid RSS

I put the 2 in my website(xoops 2.0.5.1) and XOOPS work, but the other no

Thanks for your help.
The headline module is simply amazing.
he is one of the more incredible modules than XOOPS has( ), but let us be sincere... it still does not function correctly. Or it has something strange in the current standard of RSS.

Please look at:
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=13971&forum=4

The great lykoszine: um abraço lykoszine!

PS: sorry my poor english

Hello CBlue.

Really headline module don't work in many(90%..?) RSS and RDF sources.

Your headlines is from MyRSS webservice.

Please look this post:
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=13971&forum=4

many RSS true valid (test in a RSS validator) dont work in xoops.

Test in your website this valid RSS:
http://www.interney.net/rss.php

Test your site and other sites in this validator:
http://feedvalidator.org/
http://aggregator.userland.com/validator

robots.txt is a INEFFICIENT (without effect, useless ,etc, etc ) method to block email harvest, webcopiers, offline browsers.

many spider soft don't read robots.txt.

But the .htacess use the server system to block.

A webcopier(offline browser) software is a bandwith terror, one user even catch 1GB transfer

I wait that these links can help you:

http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum92/413.htm

http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum92/205.htm

I supose is easy to block using .htaccess file. if you know the user agent of the bot or spyder.
