A very strange thing is happening to my XOOPS in local. When i try to install a new module i don't see it in the admin panel. I tried some modules with the same result. I use WMservertools latest version and XOOPS latest version too. Works just fine when on-line.

module news don't show up

Wowowowow... i have a little problem! my news module does not show up. It was working fine since yesterday but then went away and i don't see any news on my first page or any other page at all. I tried to uninstall and install again but remains the same. I also cancel the news module from the server and put a new one but still not showing up. What can i do.... thx for the help. I discover also that the module Mylinks is down too.

Hello. I'm not too sure what version of XOOPS i have installed. How can i see what version i'm running?

I see. then i'll have to do it manualy when my site will be on-line?

I can use other place rather than the picture manager if i can make it work. But when i insert in the news module "when writing news" nothing happens. header.gif is in my default theme the one i use.

Local xoops site

Hello guys. I have a little question? I'm developing a XOOPS site in local(localhost) but soon will be on-line. My problem is that i'm using quite a few pictures(picture manager) and banners. Is there a way to tell XOOPS to use smart templates like (XOOPS_URL) instead of writing the hole path like http://localhost/mysite/pictures/picture.gif

If not i will have to change all to macth the new location.

Hello there! I'm new to php and soapbox. I'm trying to deactivate the rating option in article.php but i can't find the right lines where to do it. I also look in the module's CP but there's nothing that can make the job. Can you tell me what to search for?

Thx guys for the quick answer. What i'd like to do is to put an external page from the web not a local one. like https://xoops.org/ and display it in a central block in xoopx
