Ther are indead as I use one on my site. It works with eXOOPS & XOOPS 2.0.5

Hi,

I'll do these into German. It'll take about 3-4days because of the little time I have.

I'll start on Tuesday the 25th of November.

If you already have some of these in German let me know. I'm American and will have to have my wife or some freinds check the Grammatics after I'm done then I'll send the files as they get done.

Is this OK?

Yeah, Something to that effect - but I think there should be credit given to the orginal auhtor, not just whoever modded it as some people try to do.

I know that the min. length can be set in the admin. What I ment was that, i.e. I use the username hyperclock but on this site (and a few other sites using xoops) only allow up to 8 letters - so instead of using hyperclock I can only use hyperclo.

This was what I got when using SuSE or Red Hat. So actually this brings me to think that XOOPS uses the password system of the OS it resides on, which in return makes me think it would be more conform if this would be integrated into XOOPS.

Thats all....not that hard to understand is it?

I'm not sure but is the 'USERNAME' system dependant?
What I mean is on some sites a user can only use 8 characters in a name, on some 10. Seeems to me if RedHat or SuSE is used you can only use 8 characters, whereas with Mandrake 10.

If this is so, it would be (my personal opinion) better if this is integrated into XOOPS. This would make XOOPS more uniform.

Its just a thought, not important though.

Credits Module ?

I'm looking for a Credits module to be able to reflect the Credits of Modules.

What would be nice if it shows the Original Auther as well as to who Modifeid it.

Does anybody know about one?

If not I might take the one used for PostNuke and hack it for XOOPS.

Is there a credits module to show the credits of the installed modules?

I'm thinking of one that is simular to the used by postnuke(it's a very nicely made module).
