I'm starting to have this problem too!!
Completely unkown and strange users.. with unreal mail has registered to my site.. I will not mail him because I think it will be worst if I try to ask him to leave..
The mail is.. for example: snipi@refresh.sk
(very strange, isn't it?)

My site is a particular one for a student's community that has never been promoted.. I hope you can give us a solution.. Thanks for your work.

The problem has stopped.. no more completely unkown registered users.. I do not know why this people registered.. but I can affirm it wasn't an spammer attack.. Sorry Folks!! I'm a little paranoid and reading Oz message incresead it!!

I'm here because I have uploaded the images in the folder..
mysite/modules/news/images/topic
And I have assigned them to the topics I created.. but I can't see it. It only appears the "red cross" like a broken link.. I cheked the server and the image is there..
I got the images from slashdot.org (they are the usual ones.. so I think there isn't a pixel problem.. I dunno)

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.5 with Phpkaox theme. If I use default, neither appears..

I'm here asking for help about installation (Xoops 2.0.5a)

My host is tripod.lycos..
It has a PHP 4.3. and MySQL DB Admin up to date.
I have uploaded all the HTML folder and run the installation.

All steps, including DB creation, user and password are ok..

I think I'm doing something wrong.. but I don't know what.
It allows me to go on to admin user setting (the next screen) but I think I have
a problem here that will appear later.
