I'm Beltran from the BitNami project. We have just released BitNami Stack for XOOPS http://bitnami.com/stack/xoops. It is an easy one-click installer for Windows, OS X and Linux. They are self-contained and independent so you can install it without modify your system.

You can also download a Virtual Appliance ready-to-run or you can deploy it for free in the Amazon or Azure Cloud.

They ships XOOPS v2.5.5 and dependencies: Apache 2.4.4, PHP 5.4.13 and MySQL 5.5.29.
