Email notifications doesn't work

Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I'm using Xoops 2.5.1a.

When a user registers themselves, and it says it's sending them an email notification to activate their account, it never sends that email.

Also, I have the liaise module installed, and when I select that to send me the completed forms via email, it never sends them either.

Is it possible the two are linked?? I NEED HELP!

Internet Explorer Issues

I am using the a_portal-2 theme and have already customized the template a little etc. I have been using mozilla the whole time and have never had any issues.

It has a slider on there which I would like to use however it doesn't work with Internet Explorer. I have tried computers with IE 9 and IE 8 but neither of them load the slider.

How can I make this work???
