hi there

Are there any plans to make global categories? Something like the group permission feature. So you can categorize (or "tagging") articles, events, forum posts, contacts etc.

what do you think about?

... would be really cool...

but...

all the apaches out there are running under nobody-rights... this means that you have to chmod 777 the modules directory... i think this isn't a very good idea...

hi!

you shouldnt edit the html file... but if you do so, you have to update the module. (Administration->System->Modules)

the right way to do this is:

Go to Administration->System->Templates->Clone and save it under a new name.

Then go to System->Preferences and change the default template set. Now you can change the templates online. (System->Templates->yourTemplateSet)

hi there!

are there any plans to have a dedicated Xoops-Dev site? This would realy be cool. I think the main xoops.org site is littlebit overloaded (i think...).

Something in direction:http://www.myxoopsforge.de

just my thoughts...

What I'm missing in XOOPS is the ability to have more than one instance of a block.

Idea behind:
news-block where you can select category, so i want to show new articles in category "x" , and as a second block category "a". By now, i have add a second block to the module..

just my thoughts... might be difficult to implement.. :)

If i start the browser and go tohttp://rockfest.ch/x205/modules/news i get a blank page or with debbuging turnd on an error.

But if i first go tohttp://rockfest.ch/x205, then go to another page and then load the news module directly... this works just fine..

hi!

Which is the right place to report bugs?

- Mailinglist
- this Forum
- or the bugs page on Sourceforge?

I think it would realy be nice to have only one place to report bugs...

Greetings
Thomas
