Re: Embedded windows media player

I checked runing some wmv files from the command line in IE6 found that it gave errors page not found. The fix was to set the permissions on the .wav file to execution and read by owner group and others. RIGHT CLICK FILE AND PROPERTIES then set permissions. Write permissions should be unclicked also.

That is my 2 cents worth.

Good Luck, my friend.

Re: Set Custom session and to zero time HELP

got it...
The browsing I was doing was not from the top browse where it gave me editability ...
I was doing the browse next to the change key.

that was not linked to anything, just a text read.

It is ok now for me...

I thank you very much for this help.
I will pass it on every chance I get.

Did a dumb thing.. set the time for a session to zero now I can't get in and I have my site turned off.

Re: Need special CSS help with Bluehue

ooops,
Would you mind passing me the bottle, I think I am having IE flashbacks. {{just kidding}} It does look like you are going to have to do some adjustments for your register page. Good luck, I'll hold the bottle while you get to work.

I uploaded what I am seeing on register.
.....Resized Image

NOTE: when I return to the /xoops dir. from the register page it continues to hold the (image above)in the page banner area. ...EVEN AFTER I CLOSE the broswer and re-enter the site from the homepage before going back to the /xoops directory.

Needless to say I would include the fix IF I knew what it was, but I don't so I can't. Sorry...
I'll keep watch so next time I will know how to keep it from happening to me or pass it on. (the fix) I am pretty much of a newbie myself.

Re: Need special CSS help with Bluehue

This is what I see (IE6 browser). If I knew you better I would tease you by saying put down the bottle and get some rest. I don't see a double image. I may not be looking where you are talking about, but... where ever it is it isn't discernible by the uneducated eye (such as mine)

Image replaced by current view on the register page.

Re: Need special CSS help with Bluehue

First, Your page is beautiful, if that is the proper word to describe very pleasent to look at.

Next, on your boardhttp://www.homedesignsense.com/xoops/
The text in the center box is blue on IE6 and black on Firefox. Just thought you might like to know there is a difference. Either one is acceptable, just may not be what you expected.

No double images, so I assume you have that fixed.

Re: My host is toast

MadFish,
I have been withhttp://hypermart.net since 2000 and have never been down, correct that... maybe once while they did some upgrading but I hardly noticed it.

The reason I like it so well is because when I washttp://BentonVideoVisions.com and selling video tapes I was at the very top of the google search. Normally, number one. (no more product to sell so do not use it for that now, haven't for a year or so.)

I am now in the process of developinghttp://hard-hunting.com on that (bentonvideovisions) site. You can host as many .coms etc. as you wish as far as I can tell.

My biggest problem is KEEPING -- Google FROM indexing some priority stuff while still maintaining their schedule of hitting on my site. My customer wanted to be number one when he put Hard-hunting on the search bar. Right now he is number 3-5 and 6 out of 16,300 and he just got the name last week, and I don't have a clue what I am doing with that page yet. Just working on keeping Google interested.

I do know that for me.. Hypermart, time, and a whole lot of html pages with lots of links and a whole lot of text will get you a good Google position.

Hypermart cost me $100.00 per year since I pay on a yearly basis. I know there are cheaper sites but this one has been worth the bucks to me.

Good luck,
