Sorry about that, Excel can't handle the long tables, neither can MS Notepad or MS Word.
ConTEXT can handle the long tables, but there is no option to use wildcards with Find/Replace.
Maybe you can split up the table in smaller parts that will be acceptable for Excel.

Then you do the following in MS Excel:

Find : [i:*]
Replace :

and

Find : [/i:*]
Replace :

If you use this the ':number' will be removed and the surrounding text will be kept.

It's from or is actually the file: ../templates/blocks/xhld0_block_rss.html

You can export the mySQL table to MS Excel or CSV file format with phpMyAdmin.
Then in a spreadsheet program or text editor like ConText you can do a 'Find and Replace' using wildcards for the numbers.

Example for MS Excel:
Find: [i:*
Replace: [i]

After this you can save the file and import it in mySQL.

If not check the settings in Modules -> eXtcal -> Permissions. It's here where you can give permissions to a site user per category. If you don't use categories it's probably not possible.
If you're running eXtcal in a block then I suggest to check the permission settings for this block.
Last one to check is the Users -> Group setting.

Maybe it's a good idea to make a backup of those tables.
After the installation of newbb you can import the data again and so you don't loose any data.
If you can't import with phpMyAdmin try BigDump.

It probably means that you have to delete (drop table) the entry xoops_bb_archive from your MySQL database.
If you don't delete the database entries first you can't reinstall newbb.

Don't know which html file (probably in /templates/) to edit but you can search for the Smarty function truncate.

More info about truncating with Smarty templates:http://smarty.php.net/manual/en/language.modifier.truncate.php

Where did you get your copy of WF-Links 1.03 from?
WF-Projects or from the Xoops 2.2 module packages?

The one from the module packages has been modified by Mithrandir.
You should use this one and then apply the fixes you'll find in the WF-Links forum section of WF-Projects website.

The error message when installing can be ignored.
I don't know what's causing it but I think the lines 135+136 and 143+144 of the file xoops_version.php. These lines are pointing to html files that don't exist.

XM-Memberstat 2.0e problem

I've installed XM-Memberstat 2.0e on my website Ron's ROV Links using XOOPS 2.2.2.
The ip-to-country database has been updated recently.

The problem I have with this module is that it still shows visitors after they have left the site.
You can check this by clicking on the 3-digit counter (php-stats)at the bottom of the site or on the site meter.
Also when a visitor logs in to the site XM-Memberstats shows him/her twice: once with the visitors ip-address and once with his/her username.
I have no cache selected for the module.

How can I solve these problems?

Thanx in advance,

McDonald
