1) the ranking (which should be more properly called "status") is to reflect everybody's current main area of contributions. If your main contributions are themes, you're a "Theme Designer", if you're contributing mainly to Modules, you're a "Module Designer", and if you're moderating, you're a "Moderator". So people know how you contribute to XOOPS. Pretty simple and logical, right?

2) The ranking/role designation is not for life. People's roles and contributions change and the status changes to reflect it.

3) The ranking is NOT a real "ranking". The name is not correct, because people seem to think that if they are not "XOOPS Developers" anymore, they've been "demoted" and it's end of the world! This is NOT the case. It's only reflection of your currently main area of contribution to XOOPS!

Just please look at you contributions in the last 12 months and tell us was is your "main area" of contributions?

As no0-b says even I am nobody. But I have been visiting the xoops site quite regularly since the last couple of years.

Since Mamba's Post explains the rank system, my question is What is DJ's visible contribution to xoops in the last 12 months or infact 24 months. Except for promises about xoops 3.0, i guess not much. So what should his status be? Now doesn't this say that maybe we need a change in his status and in his role in xoops development.

Again this is not to say that DJ is a good lead developer or not, its just to say that well his current situation may not permit him enough time to work for xoops and thats fair enough but then shouldn't his role be changed to give him more time and mental peace to set his life in order. Once that happens and he has enough time for xoops, as Mamba said

Is there a way to include an existing page of pical on a specific page of simplywiki.

Even if through a include statement in the theme.

I am currently displaying a block for upcoming events on this page using defacer. But what I will really like to do is somehow show the entire pical index page on this page.

The page can be viewed here
http://swayamsat.org/modules/workshops/index.php?page=Learn+Hypnosis+with+Basic+Course+Clinical+Hypnosis

Under the upcoming courses I currently have the coming events block displayed using defacer.

I will like to include the table on this page
http://swayamsat.org/modules/piCal
under the Upcoming courses on the above stated page.

Kindly Help

Xoops 2.4.4
pical .93
simplywiki 1.1
php 5.2

Further it seems to be a problem with cbb as if in preferences I mention the "Forum for welcoming new user" as None, then it all works fine. But if I choose a forum from the dropdown list then this error takes place.

Is there a way to direct a new user to a specific forum after registeration without the above error.????

After more digging it seems the problem is not related to user profile module. Even when I disable the module, Registered users can not access cbb. All other modules work fine.

Also cbb can be accessed by the webmaster. A non-registered user can also access the forum but once you login, then on trying to access cbb 3.08 or cbb 4rc2, gets the following error

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

I am having the same problem with the profile module with XOOPS 2.4.4 & Cbb (both 3.08 & 4rc). No registered user is able to visit the forum.

Kindly help

I had a similar problem on XOOPS 2.4.4 and simplywiki. I simply changed the admin theme from oxygen to default. And the admin started working fine in simplywiki. See if this helps. Also I think this could be a bug with the oxygen admin theme.
