1 For static pages, you need to find a module that will let you display static pages. Icontent is one of them. There are several you can choose from.

2. Looks like you are looking for a module called "multimenu". this will let you have up to 8 different menus with an admin interface to change them.

3. As far as flash goes, you will need to make your flash menu and then import it to your site by using a custom block. You will need to add the swf just like you would add it to any html page. XOOPS will let you do it but you need to have it already configured. (see the side menu and top menu herehttp://xoops.mattregister.com)

Google Maps API Module

I am in the process of building a module that displays a Google Maps "directions" module. It would appear something like thishttp://churchthatcares.org/modules/directions . This will be my first module to build and contribute to the community.

Is this something that would be helpful? Is there anything like this already out there?

The site looks very good. I don't normally like black backgrounded sites but this is an exception. Knowing I don't speak the language, the only thing I can see is the footer needs to have the text a different color. It is extremely hard to read. Other wise, this looks like a very clean site!

Yes there is. If you replace the code in class/mail/phpmailer/class.phpmailer.php with the following code. Keep in mind though, you will need to change the mail templates in language/english/mail templates because it will send all mail in html format. I am 90% sure this is the only file I changed. If it doesn't work, email me and I will send you a zip of my mail directory.

Looks like you need to edit the theme.html file in your theme directory. Make the necessary html changes in the footer section of that page.

I supppose you could also code it in the system/pregerences/meta tags and footer page of the admin section.

If you are sending them to a separate site after they sign into xoops, what will keep them from bypassing the XOOPS login site the next time?

I am not sure about the automatic redirect but you could have a block with a link to the separate site that only registered users have permission to.

The only thing I can think of is to get a fresh copy of the same version of XOOPS and reinstall the class folder. If that doesn't work then it looks like something else might have gotten deleted as well.

Make sure that the option is checked to "yes" for "check template for modifications" in the system/preferences/general screen. None of your modifications will show up until then. Just something to check.
