How to upgrade from 2.0.10RC to 2.0.10 Stable release

I do not see a upgrade option from the 2.0.10RC version to the new 2.0.10 stable release. Can someone advise me as to how to upgrade without causing problems with my current XOOPS setup?? I hope this will also fix my ongoing problem with the LOST PASSWORD not working.'

Well, I figured it out on my own! if anyone else has this problem, its THEME issue. If your using Agenda-X and notice that the Date Selector doesn't work when you are cliking it to add a date and instead it just jumps you to the top of the page then you need to go into your theme.html folder of the theme you are using and see if you have the tag
<{$xoop_module_header}>


between the <head> and </head>

Once you do this, be sure to go to the SYSTEM - GENERAL SETTINGS - CHECK the Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory. Save it and then update your module Agenda-x

Then you can go back to your SYSTEM - GENERAL settings and turn that option back off.

THAT ATLEAST WORKED FOR ME >>.. HOPE THAT MAY HELP OTHERS.

Additionaly...I am using the THEME Blue_Lagoon when it doesn't work, but it works fine in the default theme, SO it probably is just a small item needing to be added.Anyone got a answer??

Date Selector in AGENDA-X 2.2 not working

I am testing the XOOPS 2.0.10RC release not sure if that matters but I noticed that now in the AGENDA-X 2.2 module the DATE SELECTER button no longer opens up the DATE SELECTION SCREEN!! Has anyone else noticed this and if so, anyone know how to fix it,

I have javascript enabled as required for it to work.

XOOPS 2.0.10 RC2

Happy to see the RC2 release and I hope it will be the cure to my lost password retrieval problem. Since, I am currently running the XOOPS 2.0.10 RC(I know I thought it was the final when I installed it) Is it possible to just upload and copy all the files in the (SYSTEM) folder to try to fix my current password retrielval problem? Or is waiting for a patch from XOOPS 2.0.10RC to XOOPS 2.0.10 RC2 better?

Thank you for the clarification..I do appreciate that. I am new with xoops, been using LDU product and switched over so still learning.

I DO THINK THE XOOPS product is excellent!! And hope to start to learn how to create some of my own modules in the future to make availiable!

Lost Password retrival problem..

I have posted elsewhere, but still trying to see if this is a XOOPS 2.0.10RC issue or just my individual issue.

I click (Lost Password) enter email, get confirmation mailed for user. I do get a email with a link to confirm it says:

If you didn't ask for this, don't worry. Just delete this Email.

All I get is a window that says:

TAKING YOU BACK TO WHERE YOU WHERE



I Never get the NEW TEMP. PASSWORD in my email?

THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY>>and just trying to see if its only my problem and if so..please help and if RC version problem..any FIX.

I am having a problem that I wonder if it could be anyway related. I can't seem to get the LOST PASSWORD option to work. I am using version 2.0.10rc everything works fine except if you try to retrieve your lost password.

You get the email with the link however when you click it, you never get the email with a new password and you are just redirected to the REQUUEST NEW PASSWORD screen again.

Anyone else notice this..I really need a fix baddddddddddd!

One question I was still wondering was is this a isolated problem, or others that may be trying out the latest RC version XOOPS 2.0.10 Rc are getting the same problem as detailed above? I know one other had it happen to them. Just curious.

I think I am thankful I fall under umm Option (3) !

Usually I take my time to test a site, but just loved the XOOPS core software when I found it, and couldn't wait to switch over to it. Just uploaded the wrong versions before I realized it. I am great at locating bugs and will post those in the correct area when required, and with good detail on how and what is happening, and hopefully in time will be able to assist in correcting them. I also will happily help answer questions I can. The open community forum is what makes it so great.

And if you do get a patch for the lost password thats wonderful!! If it was an overall problem, then..hey I am now a almost official beta tester..
