Gotcher.
I will have a look at that, merci.
I suppose the advantage of cloning is that it probably works...almost the same for any module??
It would be easy too although,
in this case, I wouldn't be able to combine FAQs i.e. decide who sees which at the Q level. hmmmm,
again, thanks, this is great.

I would like to be able to create a category of FAQs that can only be viewed by Group X, not by Group Guests etc etc.
Any ideas on this?

Thanks.

wf-downloads after Image Upload >> blank page

When I try the
Image Upload
feature, I get a blank page.

I know blank pages are often due to things at the user's end.
Soo, is this something I can try and fix here or is it in fact a bug in the module??

Any advice would be really nice

TIA

Two things...
1.I am looking at guests being able to apply onine for a job. They would have then to submit some basic information , perhaps submitting a c.v and/or essay. I thought the Contact us module - modified - might be a good starting point?? Not sure how this works though, does the data go into the database or just forwarded to email??

2.It would also be good if registered users could submit a lesson idea (we work with teachers) which could then go to a downloads section.
It looks as if these things are doable but there might be easier ways and harder ways....

Any/all hints greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function:session_set_save_handler()

Remote shared host. ftp access for file uploads only.
browser inerface through their own 'control panel' to create databases.

Windows v??
Apache 1.3.26
PhP 4.??
MySQl 3.23.53

Created MySQL database first.

New install of XOOPS

Install went smoothly, all green lights.

Last page of the installation, when I clicked on HERE, I got a blank page.
Having read another forum I got advice on overriding error reporting settings at the directory level using .htaccess.
GOOD! , at least not blank pages anymore.
This then changed the blank page to

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_set_save_handler() in xxxxx/xoops/include/common.php on line 157

I have tried to look for this but to no avail yet.

I also tried a phpinfo but it has been disabled on this host...security.

If you have any ideas as to how to overcome this problem I would be really grateful.

cheers
