The first theme I downloaded, after installing Xoops, was the Gold theme from http://www.xoops-themes.com. ArchSilver is based on that theme. The theme was originally a PHPNuke theme from http://www.Disipal.net, BlackW, that I modified into ArchBlackW. I converted the modified ArchBlackW into the XOOPS theme ArchSilver.
It is a dark theme and has a Black/Gray/Silver color scheme. The theme has turned out , IMHO, ten fold better than my modified Nuke theme.Resized Image

NO REG REQUIRED FOR DOWNLOAD
You can view and download from:
http://ArchangelArtifacts.com

Please test on your site and if any problems occur, document the version of xoops, browser and OS versions.
Once testing is done I shall add some bells and whistles.

All that I ask is that you leave the footer credits intact. If you modify the theme add your credits in the footer.

@Bazus

In your FTP program change the upload to "binary".
When I upload files to my server, for whatever reason, it will not actually upload if set to "auto".
It says it upload and goes through the file transfer, but does not actually upload.

Hello,
This may or may not help.
Check your post_max_size and make sure its not at a low setting. Depending on if you have many people hosted 55m is a good setting.
Also check your upload_max_filesize. 50m is good on that.

Hope that helps.

Hello,
WooHoo, I just made my first basic XOOPS Module.
Xoops Ebay Module (will change to myEbay). It started out I just wanted an EBay Block.
See it here
http://archangelartifacts.com/modules/ebay/

It even has its own block that opens up to your ebay auctions and your EBay AboutMe page, see on right side of my site.

Made small image for the "module admin" side:
Resized Image

I made two versions of it, the one at my site uses javascript from Commission Junction (http://www.cj.com)
and can make you money with the affiliate program.
Still needs some tweaking.

The other version still needs more work. I am using some code from the Ebay Developers and having a bit of a time with it. I mean it works, just not to my liking.

I also started a ebay module using the cj.com scripts, a full ebay mall at your site. Sweet....

Oh Yeah a got my paypal group membership module to work tonite also.......more on that at a later date. Have to negotiate some non GPL legalities with the original script.

Stay tuned for more mods and release date of Ebay Auctions for Xoops.

PEACE ALL
AAINC

If anyone has a cj.com account I will send mod to you with instructions. I am gonna make a full admin before release, so there will not be any harcoding of files.

Hello,
Thank you.
I cannot get it to download though.

Might be a language thing, so far I only have simplified chinese downloaded.
For whatever reason MSIE puts a blank page on languages not installed for XOOPS sites. Most of the time though it asks if I what to download language.

I will try later, got to get ready to go to work, not much sleep tonite, XOOPS has got me hooked.

Hello,
I kinda touched on this subject here:
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=13274&forum=20#forumpost53198

I recoded theme so that ccb was below clb and crb.
I also added an include so that if I want I can have a "fake" ccb underneath my content, at bottom of page.
But that is static and only a temporary solution.

A center center BOTTOM block with admin feature would be cool.

Hint Hint
Many thanks to the XOOPS developers for this awesome CMS, I am Hooked.

I just submitted a news article here at XOOPS about ErrorDocs for Xoops, until it is (if) published I will make a quick post.

I converted a small Nuke addon to work with Xoops.
ErrorDocs for XOOPS allows your XOOPS site to use error documents that match your site instead of the plain ones that the severs show.
error
400
401
403
404
will now be framed by your theme.

Example:
http://www.archangelartifacts.com/putwhateverhereforan404error

One small file added to your root directory and a couple of lines in your .htaccess file and there you go.
You can change the file to say whatever you want for each error.
If you try to access file directly it will give "Unknown Error"
I have it for download at my site.
http://www.archangelartifacts.com
No reg required for download.
I want to add a small function to draw from XOOPS Db to make it more personalized for users that are logged in.
If you get around to doing this before I do or have any problems with it please post in my forums.

PEACE ALL
AAINC

I have converted several nuke scripts over and a couple of themes, so watch for them at my site, i will be releasing over next few weeks.

That a theme thing there.
Either the center center block is above or below the center left block and the center right block. So Far, all the XOOPS themes I have played with have the ccb, clb and crb above the content.
If I understand you correctly you want the center center block to go under the content(at the bottom of the page , lets say, UNDER the news articles or content).

The quick fix is to recode theme to put the ccb code under the content. You would not have a ccb above the content anymore.

OR...

Create a static page and use "include" code in the theme under the content.

OR...

Recode sql, blockadmin and theme to include a bottom center center block, bottom center left block and a bottom center right block. Full admin three more block at bottom of page. Hmm....

PEACE
