One more thing, the Amazon books module isn't quite finished as I have yet to write the adminstration section. I figure I'll do that after christmas. ;)

Hello Parody:

Excellent work.! :)

Though I dint get time to install the book module but I am very much intersted to first check how you are working out on Books Table and specially the way you are fetching ISBN database. Are you using .pl code or xfront XML schema for ISBN number ?

My website www.123ecominfo.com ISBN no. is 0072231467 and I try to find it out its recored from your website book module search box but with no results? Are you working on this ?

Hot or Not is also a excellent features you have added, congrats, good work.

Dear Donxoops / hsalazar:

Thanks. Let me exlain you my purpose in little more detail. I am not worried about giving TITLE information to all pages, because TITLE tage somehow takes name of the Module as a first word of TITLE tag. My point is how to give proper META tag information for all modules and not only TITLE tags. It is something like e-xoops module called meta-generator.

My post is properly explained in good english by "CarNuke" in his posthttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=14937&forum=10

Using URL rewrite and meta tagging pages like this would have a dramatic effect on search engine optimisation and subsequent page rankings.

Some users will not find this useful or interesting, but commercial and information based sites would have a huge benifit. We all like a popular website, but we can't avoid the fact that search engine 'visibility' is an important factor in getting visitors. I would be interested if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Please note: XOOPS sites are already being indexed by the likes of GOOGLE and some other Db.friendly spiders. This post is about optimisation, maximum visibility and expanding the field of search engines indexing.

My Reply:

I was reading your post with interest. I also read few post likehttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=13505&forum=3 andhttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=9587&forum=7

but my question is that all the post related to friendly URL's but not specific to giving META information for individual modules. like description, keywords...etc.

I would like to know whether you found any more information on the SEO , maximum visibility and expanding the field of search engines indexing? the reason for which you posted this topics ?

I want different META tags information, like title, description, author, keywords for different module.

Say for "Forum" I want TITLE tags like "Best ecommerce Forum" and for Home Page, "123 e-commerce resources". Is it possible ?

Now all my Web Pages are taking the same META tag information and which is basdically a wrap of theme.html under "theme" folder.

Please help .

Hello:

I had a similar problem while migrating a database, which consists more then 6000+ members profile.

Good news is that after a long delay, I successfully migrated all records from IPB Original to IPBM 1.23 for xoops, developed by kaudanshi.

I modified this script, so that for large database, session timeout shouldnt occur.

Feel free to download this script from

Hello :

Yes, this is a serious issue. I reported about this in one of my prev post. My problem is that I am not able to show any HTML pages properly which is written in a multiline format. Secondly it will be difficult for you to use Long URL. The XOOPS code inserts <BR> tags within long URL and makes the URL not functional at all.

I found a temporary soltuion, ie, by using,

Absolute HTML Compressor.

You can download the latest version of Absolute HTML Compressor fromhttp://www.alentum.com/ahc/.

This is a lengthy process but it works. Create content using some editors like DreamWeaver, save it as HTML, open Absolute HTML Compresser and run the HTML file from there. It will make your HTML code in ONE line and then Paste it in your website.

NOTE: Long URL is still a problem.

Hi
I already make a module which runs on XOOPS 2.0.5 perfectly,
but it doesn't work properly when it runs with XOOPS 2.0.5.1. I think my module is not compatiable with xoops's new version. Is any body there in XOOPS core team to help me out how to make a module version independent?

Though I remeber you helped me revewing my site, but we follow some manners while we post anything on Forum. I noticed you crossed it many times.

"we are LIVVVVVE!!!!!!!!!!!" ...so what? We all are live.

I like the theme. You need to make your site litte different then keeping the same theme from where you have taken. Change your logo, add some colors to it. Postive thing is that Alexa shows you have more then 178,900 traffic ranking. Good work.
