I'm probably not the guy, but what version were you trying to upgrade from, and what version were you trying to upgrade to?
There are minimal requirements for many things.
State your system specs and maybe they can help.

I'm sorry dude, but I've tried to use your mods and am only going to say that I would rather self install DarkComet on my root directory with open access than trust any of your code.

Culex?? I have a new 2.5.7 install and was gonna give xim a shot with it, so I went and clicked on the sourceforge link you posted in this thread, and am now in the middle of a 1.7 GB download. wtf?

Secure login using 2.5.7 and xBootstrap

When selecting a secure login via the bootstrap theme you see a css issue with the banner display if it's turned on.

I'm building this from the start as a replacement for my longterm xoops install with another host. I have no content just yet but I'm liking the structure.

My best guess at a fix is a larger window size for the secure login window.
I don't have a smart phone or tablet to judge the impact from those platforms.
