News 1.3.1.1 and Xoops 2.2.1

I've been troubleshooting a bug in xoops2.2.1 and news 1.3.1.1. The problem seems to be centred around the DHTML calender. If you do not select a date for the article to be published, it defaults to 1/1/1970. However, if you select the date to publish, it will post on that date. So it seems that the calender is not defaulting to todays date when no date is selected.

We are just trying to find ways of making the site pay for itself but still give back to the community. jdseymour suggestion pretty much covered what we are looking for.

Rewarding Donators

Not sure if this is possible but if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

With the recent discussion over AMS and donators getting access to new releases before the general public, our team are toying with the idea of giving donators personal webpages and weblogging in order to give them something back.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be done?

Creating Custom Webpages

I'm trying to create custom error pages with the XOOPS navigation bar and the XOOPS search engine. What would I need to enter into the webpage to allow for these?

Page Refresh Issue

After recently installing ams2-4, pages either refresh after 4-5 minutes or don't refresh at all unless you manually click on the reload link. What would be the possible cause of this?

I have deleted everything in the cache, deleted everything in templates but still, the page refresh is intermittent. I've tested this on Internet Explorer and Firefox on 2 pcs with the same intermittent issue.

Since m0nty helped out with the templates I've had no further issues with AMS. Although having a full article (5 pages long) display when you click AMS can make your modem smoke a little:)

Work management

I'm looking for a module that would allow me to assign day to day tasks to members. I have around 10 members that all aid in the development of our site but its getting a bit crazy using the internal messaging system notifying members of what they need to do. But also notifying the others what has been been done.

Is there any sort of module that would make this a little easier? Thanks
