A few xoopsers and I request added features to...
The partners module, it ranks links by 'hits out' only. Are there any hints on how to record 'hits in' and rank sites by 'hits in' using the partners module?

Thank you for your time.

Hey guys,
You probably seen me few time in your search for a toplist/topsites module. I found 'one' once, it was used on a personal XOOPS website in a different language. I attempted to contact them but received no reply.

I belive it was called xoopstoplist or xoopstopsite. I remember searching all over the net with no luck finding it. Since then I have given up and am using an 'outside xoops' script.

The Partners module ranks your links by hits out (popular). I think this would be a good starting point to create a new toplist module. Any hints from the guru's on how to add 'hits in' to the partners module?

No, I do not have beta testers, just me. No, I do not have a beta release date. An estimation would be close to a couple days. Thank you for your interest in my small project.

Ummm, sorry bd_csmc,

xUserHomePages is a port of the UHP module for Mambo, to the Xoops2 CMS.

Maybe my question should be forwarded to Mithrandir since I am hacking his module.

I was wondering if this module that you are making could have features like they do on www.myspace.com. People can like, add comments and stuff, just check out the site and look at someones page to see what its all about.

I checked out the site and the user profile pages look really similar to this module. With some help I think this could be done.

If I could get the module using the system comments it could be used as a guestbook or peoples reviews. If anybody could do this let me know.

how am i able to download this module? help please. thanks.

You can't download the module because there are no files released. Although, I am working on my own version of a user profiles module. There is a bit more work to do and then I will release it for testing and feedback. To date, the progress is looking promissing.

bd_csmc, if you have the time, I may need your help on a few bits and pieces. I will contribute all my work to your dev project xUserHomePages - xuhp.

Let me know! Thanks.

In 2005 I wish for,
a module to display a block containing data from all modules being used. The content shown is, How many Total Topics? Total Comments? Total Downloads? Total Links? Total Members?...

I would not mind if this module needs some coding each time a 'new' module is installed, or hacking the 'new' module installed.

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=27633&forum=7&post_id=127226
In this post, mrjingles, has put together some code that may be used as a starting point. His example is used for clones of mydownloads.

This module would be so cool! I wish santa knew php and xoops!

I was faced with this same question as a newbie xoopster. In the end, you have to sacrifice a column and place it there (below the content). I ended up using center-left and center-right below whole 'body' table and above the footer. This gave me 100% width for table and 50% for each column (enough space to hold recent posts, comments, etc). Keep in mind that my left-left and right-right columns held little content, or the bottom center-left and center-right table would be pushed down too far.

Most sites have the left-side 'spine' style layout. What if you placed empty cells above the left and right cells in the body table, then made center body cell colspan="2"?
