4) IMHO, there is to much diversity in navigation methods on the xoops.org frontpage. New users, non-geeks and people older than 30 (I'm one of them ;) ) will feel confused. It is simply a matter of too much of the cool stuff. Usability = keeping things simple.

Recently we've changed our format to this format, which we were going to use to update existing XOOPS documents, in order to have a consistent look and feel.
However, if you want to come up with something more "jazzy", please do so and let us know your ideas. We would love to have a professionally looking XOOPS Documentation.

We just published the latest version of WOX (World of XOOPS) Newsletter. If you could translate it and publish it on your local Websites, it would be terrific, as it would help to show your users what is happening in the World of XOOPS.
