Remotely access CD contents?

Hi,
I am trying to find a module whch can give me facility to give access to contents of CD in the CD drive to the users or I will copy the CD contents in a folder so user can view the contents list and shoule be able to view the contents using XOOPS main page or block.

Please help me in finding such a module.

Service Status error?

I am trying to confgire Service Status module but when I am trying to add any service it is giving "Error" and not saving any thing. Please let me know if it is know bug or I am doing something wrong with it.

Theme selection for each user?

Hi,
I have different themes and one as default. Now when user changes the theme it if fine but when he/she relogging or reopen the site there is no way to keep his own theme of choice again default comes in. Is there any way so each user can have his own default theme?

Hi,
I have configured XOOPS 2.0 and during use of Poll module would like to share my observations. I created a poll and when a user cost his/her vote it is not allowing to cost again which is good but what if I can view results before costing my vote. I mean it should not be allowed to view result before costing your vote and if you view the result then you should not be allowed to cost the vote.

I tried the ver 2.1 but as it is not stable yet so using this one. Anyhow I can wait for the 2.1 stable release.

Hi,
I am tring to find Private Messaging module in XOOPS 2.0.10 Stable (released 23 Apr '05) but think the module is not available there. Also viewed Module repository and scrolled down the who P index but no gain. Please let me know if I can find a module of PM for this release.

My requirement is to place the html file at a location while giving its access to certain users who will modify on daily basis. So it will not be so nice to give access of block directly.

Hi,
I have tried all the mentined modules but unable to get my required functionality. All are showing links on the main page but I need to show the contents of HTML file in the block instead of link. So the block on main page will show the contents of the mentioned html file.
May be these modules have such functionality but I am unable to get through so please need assistance.

Hi,
I have inserted only 3 records and I want to display all 3 so no need to specify where at the moment. Yes you are right later I will use it but right now I just want an output.

I am also getting error,

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in c:\apache\Apache\htdocs\html\class\xoopsblock.php(146) : eval()'d code on line 1
